I usually take a wait and see approach. While year 1 didn’t pan out, you have to give someone a chance to succeed or fail.

This wasn't a booster generated coup. If it was it would have been a done deal? This started with disgruntled ex-players, coaches and AD Staff members and it took off in the press. The booster wanted answers and the University provide their findings. It wasn't about money or power. If anyone is to blame it is the outgoing President and how he reacted to the rumors.
Oh
Alright

How pathetic at backroom dealings do you have to be to lose a coup against a coach with no pull, no power players in his corner and no ties to the school or region?
Yeah that's really bad.

No it seems to happen about once a decade

That is the narrative that everyone wants to put out, but this has more to do with what is happening within the Athletic Department than what is going on with the BOTs and backrooms of the Auburn Convention Center.

Auburn boosters put the school they love so dearly into a lose-lose situation and set the program back for years to come. Outstanding
Pretty much.

Harsin caused the mess, nobody else.

But you are clueless anyway. That long assed coaching candidates list didn’t even have Harsin’s name on it. As would be insiders go you’re one of the worst

You can count on a few to put a positive spin on this situation.

The above is a good analysis

If that was the case he’d be fired right now
UNLESS,
Auburn can’t afford fire him because of the Gus extension that led to his huge buyout. Which means Auburn is still a big contributor to the mess

Harsin has to be bitter. 2023 is one of the best recruiting hauls in the State of Alabama in a while and Harsin is liable not to visit one of the them much less spend a lot of time coaching the team or managing the program. This could get ugly..

Auburn and the PTB are definitely to blame for this mess. But I don't think Harsin has done his job well.

LOL. Now that’s funny right there. I get it: a “spontaneous” event with no prior cause. Happens all the time.

Spontaneous combustion - happens all the time with dumpsters

Best in-state crop of talent in over 20 years and they sabotaged an already iffy recruiting ability.

I guess our main objective and focus will be to ruin someone else's season then...

Nothing positive in this entire situation. This type of thing happens in Corporate America all the time. Those who want to cause trouble for sports related issues either claim racism or release rumors to the press. They know the press will run with it. It is up to the University Administration to put the fire out, AU just threw gas on it.
