Remember when a bunch of you idiots kept saying Arch Manning was no good?

Why would I admit being wrong when I'm still right in saying Arch is no good.

He’s streaky… he’s a good/decent QB but not great imo. And obviously hasn’t come close to living up to the hype.

It’s quite concerning that they’ve got the #12 total offense in the SEC with a OC HC and veteran QB. Granted, They’ve played a tough schedule through 4 weeks, but still offense has to concerning for Texas.

He needed to grow. Was insane hype because of the family name. Guarantee his Uncles do film with him after every game on Zoom. Was young and needed time like most QBs. The college game is very different when you step up a level. Especially in the SEC.

Either way… definitely not in the great category or anywhere close to it. Really surprising that he hasn’t taken a big step forward this year with the improved Texas running game and OL

Arch is an average at best QB. Plug any other QB in the SEC at Texas and they would have similar to better results.

Give the other SEC QBs a lifetime of NFL caliber coaching and advantages only the mannings can bring and I doubt any perform under Arch’s standard.

I don’t hate Arch. I’m an LSU fan and I hope he is the starter when Texas comes to Baton Rouge. Him at the helm gives us the best chance.

Like he's not good at all. Everyone was right.

Arch is still an average SEC QB. Low usage rate and not a lot of production. Low completion percentage and not a big threat in the running game. Only 7 TDs in 4 games this year.

Texas' offense leans heavily on the running game (160 rush attempts vs. 124 passing attempts though 4 games) and doesn't ask Arch to do much. To his credit, Arch is averaging nearly 12 yards per completion this season, so when he does connect, it's usually for big yardage.

Problem with Arch is he's not consistently good enough to keep the offense moving. He still misses a lot of throws and we are almost 30 games into his college career. Texas' defense is only giving up 13 points per game, so he doesn't have to do a lot to win right now. Doesn't mean he himself has been particularly good.

And he makes incredibly dumb mistakes for someone in his fourth year.

Two passes beyond the line of scrimmage in one quarter on Saturday was mind-blowing. You wouldn't expect a true freshman to do something like that.

Let's revisit the stats and rankings when Texas' gets more below average opponents to throw on (e.g. Arky, A&M, etc.). Texas played (and beat) two top 15 teams in the first 4 weeks of the season.
