Wasn’t he beating up on private school white boys in high school? That along with the last name and it is unrealistic expectations. He is a “good” QB but there shouldn’t be a “tank for Arch” mantra for sure.

I am not going to say that Arch is "no good" but he is an average QB, not to mention I think he likes boys.

What the hell? AJ has 3 NC rings. He brought us back against Georgia in the 2012 SEC Championship Game and in the 2012 LSU game in BR. He never went missing in big games or any other.

Good, sure. But, that is about where it stops.
Given his pedigree, overall advantages in development and surrounding talent at Texas, you'd expect the level of play to at least approach the hype. It doesn't come close.
He is a talented player and seems like a good young man. But, he has done nothing to distinguish himself as more than a borderline top 1/3 QB in CFB. Still, that is a big accomplishment in itself.
He may very well go on to be an NFL great or have the lights click on for a legendary CFB season the rest of the way, but nothing really indicates either to be true to date.

Arch played legit in High school. His last name carried a lot of weight and many thought he was going to win the Heisman with his pedigree and lifetime of coaching.
He seems to be a really good kid who is playing his heart out and giving it his 100%. This doesn’t mean he’s great, just that the kid is able to handle the spotlight with maturity.
Anyone who dislikes Arch needs to evaluate themself.

The talent around him was also objectively better than what Manning has at Texas. He took snaps from behind one of the best OLs in SEC history, handed the ball off to three different players who eclipsed 1,000 yards, threw to one of the top three WRs in school history, and had a dominant defense to get him the ball back when the offense stalled.
I love me some AJ, but let’s not act like he was a game breaker in the same mold as our later QBs in the Saban Era.
