I'm sure that was very disappointing for them.
Imagine being undefeated with one of the most impressive resumes in modern history, and then losing the championship to a team you already beat once. That must be devastating.

God that would be horrible. Can you imagine the matchup the following season though? I'm sure they'll get their revenge.

Honestly, you could have done even better by saying this: "Imagine giving 200k to a recruit who ended up being a total bust both athletically and academically...and then having the dirty HS coaches testify that several SEC programs paid for his visit and offered to pay for his services, but your team is the only one punished...and punished HARD. That would be devastating."
And it WAS devastating. I can still remember how painful and humiliating that era was. It makes me that much more appreciative of seeing 4 national titles in 7 years.

It's been 5 years man. Fans who have lives doesn't let a football game that was played over 5 years ago still devastate them. If it does then they need help badly.
