For what? Serious question.

The old “LSU is bigger than the SEC” argument.
Please use it in court. That will give them even more motivation to kick you out.

Man, I keep seeing this and I don't think y'all want to see what that could look like. LSU leaving the SEC would suck but the SEC would easily pivot to adding 3 of the top ACC teams and dry their tears with a new TV deal at double the current payouts.
LSU would end up in the B12 at best? I guess you could explore going Independent, but then who are you scheduling? Your former conference will blacklist you and the B10 has already made their bed with the SEC.

We'd have to pay France hundreds of billions, if not trillions to take back Louisiana

Oh, you better care, motherfricker. Our Louisiana Attorney General will countersue and bankrupt the fricking conference. We don’t fricking care. We’re ready to burn the motherfricker down , assholes

The commissioner works for the respective AD's of the member institutions. If they get the ability to expel LSU via majority vote through this amendment, you're screwed boss.
Do you think Sankey would file this amendment if he didn't already have the majority vote in hand? Use your brain man. I don't even know how LSU is going to backtrack out of this with minimal penalties with the way everything has been handled. A public apology isn't getting it done.

We’ve heard this on repeat since this all started. “The SEC won’t block LSU from getting these players” “The SEC won’t pass a rule” “The SEC won’t sue LSU” “The SEC won’t consider kicking LSU out” “The SEC won’t vote to kick LSU out” It all keeps happening
“Kiffin’s never leaving Ole Miss.”

FOR frickING WHAT? TRYING TO GET A COUPLE PLAYERS EVERYONE ELSE WAS?
frick it, kick LSU out, let's let the courts deal with it.
I'm sure the Louisiana Legislature will be happy to write a new law authorizing the state to sieze property belonging to any institution, person, government, or entity that's remotely connected to Sankey, the SEC, or a member institution that voted for expulsion. If it's in Louisiana, it's ours until suits are settled and terms are paid.

LSU isn't getting expelled. But, LSU fans are waaaaaay overestimating their value. The SEC might experience a slight hiccup if LSU gets the boot. There are too many attractive suitors lined up to take their place (UNC, Climpson, FSU, Da U) for the removal of LSU to have any more than a negligible impact.
The ramifications for LSU, however, would be catastrophic. Ask GaTech how leaving the SEC in a huff has worked out for them. LSU would be relegated to either the ACC or B12 of the "majors" or navigating the rough waters of being an independent. Only ND has the national brand to make that a success. LSU doesn't come close. They'd also fight an unofficial blackballing by the SEC and B10 so scheduling would be a challenge.
I have no doubt this is all posturing and dick measuring by both sides. But, LSU better be careful. They're the only ones who could lose if this gets ugly.
