I visited Starkville recently and I thought the baseball stadium was the best college baseball stadium I've ever seen in person.
Our baseball stadium could be confused for a high school stadium. If we had a stadium like the one I saw in Starkville, I'd actually go to more games.

You can break the cycle
Fans are going to have to show up first

How about coming in at #3 with a 70 percent complete stadium..

I graduated three years ago, and they’ve been throwing beer since at least 2010 when I was freshman. Nice try tho.

Us being lower than coastal Carolina is hilarious

It is a gorgeous stadium.
My concern is that the parking around it is being developed out the ying yang.

Ads are tacky on Mlb parks too. They can usually make them look a little more interesting and have more space in their park. Most college parks aren’t littered with them and look much cleaner. Look at olsen for example. There are adds. The new one behind home is pretty bad, but other than that they’re just some white text on a green wall. There are only a few and not dozens. It’s much more pleasing to look at than a subway sign.

It's a very legit criticism. Alex Box could have been and should have been the greatest shrine in college baseball. The amount of ads are ridiculous and insane. I think the way Arkansas does it with Arvest Bank is quite classy and much better than one ad after another like LSU does.
LSU Baseball brings in more $$$ than all the other SEC baseball programs combined. LSU charges way, way, way more money for their suites than anyone else does. LSU charges way more money for donations for chairback seats than anyone else does and yet they cut every corner they could when they built the new Alex Box.
I love, absolutely, loved Skip as our baseball coach, but as an AD, he was cheap, cheap, cheap. Look at what he did with the West Side of Tiger Stadium. He went away from the Classic Coliseum look of the rest of the stadium, because he was cheap as hell.

I'm about 10 minutes away from their campus and the new ballfield is nice. Problem is, Coastal's fan support is atrocious. It's a shame too, because what Gary Gilmore has done there is nothing short of amazing. When Gilmore became Coastal's coach in 1996, they were three years removed from being a branch campus of the University of South Carolina.

Yeah there is a very big difference between
and
Yours look terrible, absolutely terrible. We have 4 on each side for 8 total, you have like 300 and they are ugly as shite.
As far as your behind home plate area, I don't know what is your issue there. The wall looks really tiny and weird, so you just hung ads over the wall? Looks just awful, and very very cheap. Your backdrop just looks off, not even just the ads.
But if you didn't go cheap and went with something modern like most higher end/pro stadiums, you just put a digital LED sign that changes ads.
South Carolina and Ole Miss have digital as well for the only ad placement. Looks much much better, especially on TV.

Yeah we used to have all of our ads in color and it looked really tacky until we switched to all white. Although I liked the Arvest logo behind home plate better than the LED signs we have now.

All the ads at the Box, to me, fit in with the gaudy lsu colors and south Louisiana style
