No Sunbelt Billy? List is invalid. Shame.

Jimbo Fisher is from the Terry Bowden tree. These coaching tree lists are crap. Kiffen had already been a head coach before coaching for Saban. He truly comes from the Monte Kiffen tree.

Yeah, the rehabilitation crap doesn’t mean they are part of his tree. He simply saved some of those coaches from a dumpster

It’s weird his biggest coaching mentors according to lane are saban Carroll and monte. All defensive coaches yet lanes an offensive guy.

Negative. He changed the way they think about running a program and Lane would tell you that in a heartbeat. Cignetti said he learned more how to run a program in one yearn under Saban than he did in his previous 20 years. Saban ran his program like a highly successful fortune 500 company. Every aspect of the program was paid attention to in high detail. These coaches like Lane just didn't come in under Saban and "lay low" until everything blew over. They learned how to run a successful football program.

This appears to just be a top 10 list.
There's also Applewhite, Cochran, Daboll, Dantonio, Dooley, Gase, Haywood, Huff, Kelly, Locksley, Mortenson, Pruitt, Shurmur, Taylor, etc.
Plus one-year guys like Tom Amstutz, Geoff Collins, Freddie Kitchens, Josh McDaniels, and NFL guys like Jason Garrett, Scott Linehan, and Dan Quinn if you really want to get into the weeds.

Obviously biased but no way Kirby isn’t first.
2 back to back titles built from recruiting and development in the proto/pre NIL unlimited transfer era > an assembled $30M roster of proven performers.

Lane Kiffin and Sarkisian were failed coaches before working with Saban. They don't count

He’s been coaching for 10 years and it took him 6 to win his first? Cignetti went undefeated and won it in 2.

How many NC’s did Saban beat Kirby for? I know 1 for sure in 2017 and/or 2018?
Then Kirby ran into 2019 LSU and 2020 Bama.
Cignetti didn’t have to go head to head with Prime Saban. That’s a huge difference.
Take Saban out in 2016, and Kirby has 3 or 4 titles at least.

Sark sucks but he has at least coached in 2 CFP to Kiffin's 0

So working for Saban seems to have improved their careers. I'm not certain you really thought that out before typing it

Dude, recency bias in that ranking. #2 has more NCs than #1.
