5 losses is still on the table for the season.

7 wins isn't

7-5 was a regular season prediction. LSU went 9-3. HTH

12 games isn't on the table if you are going that route.

Congrats?

I don’t know why people entertain this useless poster.

He’s a complete piece of shite. The whole state of Georgia should really be napalmed.

Now rack and stack those achievements while being a HC at an SEC school.

Declan Sullivan's family would probably disagree.

because comparing the opponents each played in their bowl games is apples to apples.

Lol.....wins in Pinstripe, International and PapaJohns.com bowls are lesser bowls than any Stoops has been in since being a HC @ UK.

Stoops wins were twice in the Citrus, Gator and Belk. BK won Citrus once, MCB once and Sun bowl. Those three are equal to Stoops 3 best bowls.

BK's one Citrus win was against LSU

Stoops beat Penn St and Iowa in Citrus

BK one MCB win was against LSU

Stoops Gator bowl win was against NC St

BK win in Sun Bowl was against Miami

Stoops win in Belk/Dukes mayo was against Va Tech

BK win in Pinstripe was against Rutgers

BK win in International was against Western Michigan

BK win in PapaJohns bowl wax against So Miss

He didn't play any better teams than Stoops has in bowls, there's no need to compare bowl losses and those teams. So I believe very much it's apples to apples

Was this a sincere statement?

If Kelly’s knock is losing NY6 bowls, logic would dictate he’s been to quite a few. And if Kentucky has never been to an NY6 bowl, logic would also dictate Kelly has, in fact, played better bowl opponents than Stoops has.

better postseason wins from 8 years at Kentucky than Kelly does from 14 years at Notre Dame & LSU

See this shows you’re just being a douche bag troll (not that there was any real doubt about that). Kelly has yet to have a postseason game at LSU.

I know this isn’t what you’re going for, but Lane getting OM to the Sugar Bowl should count as a win. It’s gonna suck when he takes over for Saban because Bama will still be dominant.

If we are going to include all 20 years he's been a head coach, then you will also have to acknowledge his 2 national titles at Grand Valley State in that time frame. He's won every where he's been. That's generally a sign someone is a pretty good coach.

I'm not knocking winning a D-2 national title. But winning a D-2 national championship 20 years ago...isn't really a top tier accomplishment is it. Paul Johnson won two D1-AA championships at Ga Southern. It doesn't translate to success at a power5.

He took Tech to multiple BCS Bowls, won his division 4 times, won his conference, and won a lot of football games at a school who couldn’t care less about the team. I’d call him a great coach

Seemingly did for him, for Jim Tressel too. Success doesn’t necessarily translate from P5 to P5 either. Kelly has been successful at 4 different places. I’d say that’s pretty good for any coach

I think LSU made a good hire yes. Will he have big success? We’ll see. I try not to make a habit of making declarative statements on future events that haven’t happened yet, despite many on this board being incapable of refraining from doing that.

There is a huge difference in good vs great. Mark Richt averaged 10 wins at UGA in the SEC during its height. He was a good coach.

If you think Brian Kelly or Paul Johnson are/ were on his level, drink up. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Let's try a different excercise...what was Notre Dames bowl record the 10 years leading up to the Brian Kelly hire. That should tell you what the state of Notre Dame football was (and is) prior to his hire. I'll hang up and wait for this one!

Let these Louisiana educated dolts savor in their own delusion. BK will lose to Georgia every year until he thanks God for the opportunity to leave Louisiana.

This may be the worst post I've ever seen on here.

It's like saying Jerry Glanville was better than Marv Levy because he never lost a Super Bowl.

Ah so we’ve gotten to the semantics portion of this discussion where we also create arguments that weren’t made. Awesome
