MSU was ahead of the curve as teams now reject the vibrancy of personality.

Texas' came out of a coloring book.

the best one they made was greg swindell. despite him being one of the best pitchers of all time for them, they forgot he threw left handed and made his statue a righty

Sweater Hog is underrated. Still not sure why it hasn't made an appearance on an alternate helmet or at midfield.

We have quite a few really good retro logos such as Slobber Hog and Hog Through the A. I'm just glad OP didn't include Popcorn Snot Hog or Pumba Pig.

I think Auburn should lose the Tiger way too many of them in the SEC and go with War Eagles .

That SC one isn't very common. The university brought this one out of mothballs this off-season.

The obvious answers for the top three are sweater hog, crimson tide logo, and Florida sweater gator.

I really like that Auburn logo, but yea it is used by quite a few schools during that era.

The Eagle and Script A has always been good, but this one has probably always been my favorite

Another classic, but one that others have used too.

Here’s a pretty comprehensive archive:

Art Evans / Angelus Pacific Co College Patches Archive

Favorite has to be the Florida Gator with a pistol shooting Sebastian the Ibis

I guess it was never official but Mike walking out of Tiger Stadium was a cool older logo.
Along with the original round Tiger head.

One of my favorites was Sparky the asu sundevil. Designed by Walt Disney. Much better than the fork.

This is my favorite Auburn logo.

I still have just the leaping Tiger on a sweatshirt that has survived 40 years since my time at Auburn.

The Eagle in the A is another favorite

Never liked the Tiger Eyes or variations thereof...

It's not even an actual retro logo. It's a fan made one.

This is an actual retro logo and it looks far better than the meth'd out bird

I actually don't mind the tiger eyes logo, however I also don't think it looks good on apparel. Hard to explain. I think it looked good as a large light up sign on the side of the stadium, but it looks bad on a hat or something.
