We lived on Palma Sola Blvd in the 80s and 90s. I left for college in 81 but parents there till about 2000.

They then moved to one of the patio home developments in El Conquistador before it was extended to 75th. Much of that will be an expensive mess when a hurricane hits.

75 was 2 lanes and no light at Cortez. Heck I remember when Cortez was 4-laned.

Moved out to the country here in NWFL and they are everywhere. Much worse than we lived on the coast

We blow hundreds of dead ones off our porches 2x a day...

and they find their way into everything....

after the Gulf War, one of my neighbors who was a maintainer (IIRC) on F-15s said that the Saudi shoot-down of an Iraqi jet was because the USAF had basically boxed the Iraqi in and the Saudi pilot had an easy shot up the tail pipe...

Don't know if true but seems plausible given the Saudi military...

Maybe the shoddy work made it tempting and easy to vandalize it..... someone sees the liner coming off and decides to pull it (or something like that)

If you wanted to conceal the conspiracy, why demolish it like a typical demolition?

Why wouldn't "they" demolish it to look more like an unplanned collapse?

Or is that part of the conspiracy within a conspiracy to make everything look like a conspiracy?

I was at a DoD contractor's office complex that wasn't on their main campus but was just an office building with other tenants on different floors.

Word starting spreading in the office. I was able to get to "freerepublic.com" for updates as most news sites were dragging/lagging.

With swiftness, security was upgraded with armed security at relevant floors.

Watched TV at the hotel bar that evening. Most Everyone was subdued, angry etc

I had an 8hr drive home at the end of the week. It was a rather somber drive - listening to Hannity who I thought did a good job in the days that followed.

Sounds a lot like "asset forfeiture".....

Shouldn't be able to take it without a conviction...

Even if you make the argument that none of the above violated any laws (Comey lying to Congress?), and were just sleazy and unethical, no one has paid a professional or personal price for it.
