Move the cocktail party up one and that seems pretty solid. If Tennessee was even remotely competitive anymore, I’d put that at 2 or 3.

Cocktail party is the most competitive relatively but it hasn’t really led to either winner doing huge things for quite some time
The iron bowl is second most competitive but seems to have big implications more often
DSOR is somewhat similar to the cocktail party but overall less competitive
TSIO is a legend only in gump minds

The egg bowl doesn’t get enough credit. If you measure by hatred of fan bases, it goes to #1.

Yeah I posted in two threads about it including this one. I gave a ranking that the OP asked me for and it emphatically is the worst of the list by almost all measures

Funny how the LUSers dismiss Tennessee on here. …Except when Tennessee went 5-0 on the Tigers last spring in baseball.
OMG you would have thought someone put tomato’s in the gumbo or something. Suddenly they were the epicenter of LUSer hate. Line after line, post after post… it was comical especially when the Vol fans collectively went “Ho hum.”
You see to LUSers, nothing in the SEC is remotely important if it doesn’t include the Tigers. They are the most insular fans in the conference and are seriously jealous that most teams have a hated rival THAT ISN’T THEM.

Historically speaking, DSOR is the most competitive of all of them with a lot on the line and both teams ruining each others seasons.

TDSOR- intense. The train incident made this what it is.
Third Saturday- the two original sec powers that brought sec football to the national stage.
Cocktail party- not much to speak of nationally until the 2000's but always a grudge match and fun for us sec fans to watch going way back. 1980 solidified it as one if the sec's best.
Egg bowl- most underrated. Hatred that rivals the iron bowl.
These games made the SEC and we don't need to lose them. They are too much damn fun. Screw Texas and ou.
