Iron Bowl, Egg Bowl, Bama vs LSU, LSU vs Florida, and a tie at # 5 between UGA Vs Florida and UGA vs Auburn. That’s my top 5. Now if I had to pick the most heated rivalry game between the players on the field I would probably go with Florida vs FSU. In recent years it seems like the Florida vs LSU game has had a feel like that too. The Egg Bowl can turn into a brawl but the Florida vs FSU game is probably the one that is going to be nothing but fights, cheap shots, and 15 yard flags.

I wish Florida St was in the SEC instead of Mizzou, Arkansas, South Carolina, or Vandy. Those Florida vs Florida St games are always heated, chippy, and fun no matter what the records are.

Yeah that game can just devolve into a street fight in a hurry.

A&M fans have been the ones throwing a fit about Texas joining the SEC. They’re the ones throwing a fit about possibly ending up in the same pod as Texas. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to play your in-state rival. The best revenge is beating them on the field every year. Why wouldn’t y’all want that?

Much more entertaining to watch them grovel. Their AD has tried multiple times to re-start the game and even solicited the press for cover. Reason why? Nothing to do with history or tradition. Simple fact is/was their home schedule stinks...rancid.

Ags know the game will renew. We're waiting for Deloss Dodds to die.

So you know you’re going to f$&k him, but you’re going to make him wait until 2:00am because it’s fun to watch him try so hard? I really just don’t understand.

When LSU was going through a spat with Tulane, the issue was over where the game would be played because LSU’s stadium holds larger capacity than the Super Dome and because of how revenue would be split. LSU decided not to cave to a home/@home schedule because Tulane really isn’t a parallel program and LSU fans were going to make up 80% of the folks in the dome regardless. I thought, and still do believe, that LSU was really stupid to terminate the rivalry because playing games in the super dome, especially in September, is awesome. Like, why wouldn’t you want to have an in-state rival to beat up on? It beats playing an FCS team.

This just for me personally:
1. OM LSU: I know this is age based but it is what college football is to me. Needs to be on Halloween week.

2. OM State: this would be tied with LSU bc I love to beat LSU the most and I hate to lose to MSU the most but it’s during thanksgiving and it interferes with family which I hate.

3. Bama Auburn: This is my favorite to watch as a third party.

4. Bama LSU: This is about as one sided as us and LSU but it is always fun to watch.

5. A&M Texas: If this happened it would move up to #4.

6. Bama TN: If TN could even it up this would be maybe as high as #3 for me.

7. Ark Texas: I really enjoyed this this year.

8. Aub UGA: they hate each other.

Don’t really care that much about the rest.

I’m convinced you will not find any other 2 teams, fans, schools, etc. that absolutely hate each other more than Ole Miss and MS State. This year was one of the calmer games and you still had State players jawing off at Kiffin and him firing back. LINK

There is typically a fight every year, multiple personal fouls, and more. It’s never meant much in the grand scheme of college football but the hatred is unmatched. Auburn and Bama at least somewhat respect each other.

I don't think people outside of Mississippi and the greater south appreciate this game enough. And this game also has the odd factor that USM and maybe even JSU fans split for this game into factions based on which of the two teams they hate more.

My only other comment is that the Red River game is the best "total package weekend game" of any on the list relative to the game, the hate and type of hate (state vs state), the setting and the festivities surrounding the game.

AU - Bama is 1

Honestly, I like that LSU has no one rivalry but many big games (AU, Bama, A&M, UF, Ole Miss, Arkie)

Can't wait for our SEC baws to see what this is like when the fires of that rivalry are stoked yearly. Y'all thought we were bad before?

The Arkansas-Texas game is a rivalry from the perspective of Arkansas fans.
frick that. It goes both ways. You don't put together an entire halftime performance mocking your opponent in the last year they play in conference for just another conference foe. Their fans can act like they don't care but their program has adamantly shown otherwise.

Meh. Since integration and scholarship limits A&M kind of dominates.
