Admit to not having spent much time there and to likely being influenced by the vagrants downtown, but it’s not at the top of my list. I could be a little low.

1. Ole Miss

2. LSU
3. Florida (very similar to LSU, better infrastructure but not as much natural beauty)

I totally agree about Florida. Amazing campus. Just not a lot of natural beauty

I've been to all of them except Vandy and Kentucky...

All of them have are really nice.. Although outside of some nice "spots" on campus... I kind of think A&M, Tennessee, Mississippi State and to a degree... South Carolina are kind of average.

But I will say that the Horseshoe area of South Carolina is stunning and is up there with the best spots in the SEC... It is just that most of the rest of USC looks like a downtown of a mid major city... And whoever put that tower behind the Horseshoe should have been taken out and shot.

My other two "spots" I think stand out are "The Grove/Circle at Ole Miss and the Quad at Bama. Mostly because they are large green spaces.

I wouldn't try to rank all of them... But I have enjoyed visiting them, and walking and running on them. Although running at Georgia kind of sucked because of the hills. Baxter street in particular. LOL.

Grand daughter just graduated from HS and did the visitation tour at all the schools she wasn't forbidden to attend. As far as best looking she loved the campuses of : Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, and Tennessee. She received scholarships and offers from all the above and then some. Going to Auburn for the aeronautical engineering school. Smart little cheerleader.

Granddad didn't have enough pull to get her into UT as an out of state student. It appears Texas is pretty stingy on out of state enrollment reserving over 95% for instate admissions. And she actually didn't want to go where her mom, dad, granddad, nana, uncles and aunts went

Have been to about half of them, here are the ones I have been to ranked in order. Honestly - top to bottom all were pretty darn cool. This is primarily based on tours I was on with my daughter - so my perception is based on that in most cases (and includes her input). We were only able to do a minor amount of looking around on our own so if it wasn't on the "tour" we probably didn't see it.

Mizzou (of course I am biased) - it pains me they had to remove the mature trees on the quad a few years ago.
Ole Miss - nice looking campus, but seemed a bit disconnected from town.
Auburn - seemed like what a college campus should be
Georgia - pretty, but seemed spread out and everything seemed to be on a hillside
Arkansas - I recall this as a nice campus that really fits NW Arkansas natural beauty (it's been several years and was not on a college tour).
LSU - just did not wow us for some reason.

aTm - it was 30 years ago, so not including this one
UF - also 30 years ago
Texas - over 50 years ago, don't even remember it because i was like 5.

This is a hard exercise because they are all unique and have different styles.

I don’t love the style of LSU’s campus for example, but those giant live oaks are absolutely beautiful.

Alabama has some absolutely gorgeous buildings but at the same time they might be next door to some ratty 1960s apartment complex… plus there is a literal graveyard next to the stadium.

Oxford the town is a 10 out of 10, but the campus buildings are super basic. Same can be said for Athens / UGA.

It’s just hard to rank everyone in order because they all have positives and negatives.

These are great towns for sure. The actual campuses are not very impressive. The old buildings on the North Campus Quad at Georgia are very old and historic looking… it’s a great part of campus. But the rest of campus is super hilly and is below average.

I can’t think of a single campus building in Oxford that has any type of wow factor. It’s about as basic of a campus as you could ever think of designing.

Crippling soviet style architecture is your thing?

Their architecture is based on brutalism. Their big 3 sports teams also deliver the brutalism experience to their fans in kind.

I must say, the Arky campus was quite a bit nicer than I expected. Kinda like Bama - they are making $ from all those out of state kids and built a lot of nice facilities. Presumably a bunch Walton $ thrown in as well.

My son is touring UF in about a week - we'll see what he reports back.

A&M isn't going to do well in this comparison because the buildings don't adhere to a unifying architectural theme. Other than similar brick color, everything looks like it was built as a one-off and not part of a larger campus. There are some great buildings, but they don't add up to a great campus.

Take a walk around Lake Alice and you will change your mind.

It is in the center of campus, but most of the activity is on the North and East parts of UF.

totally agree that UGA's campus is super hilly. Would hate walking that as a student there. A major drawback
