Was never the head coach at Alabama. We paid him as he would be, he recruited, he presided over some practices.

No signed contract? Not the coach. Even I have the same W/L record as the Alabama football head coach.

I'm one of those Alabama fans that dislike Tenn more than Auburn, but that's goofy.

I’d go Missouri over usce and miss. They are the lone power in their home state

Florida is teetering on tier 2. They are becoming more of a basketball school than anything else.

Tennessee has a losing record to Auburn. It is well known that historically Auburn has played the toughest conference schedules. By far the best jobs in the conference are USCe, Vandy, KY, and Missouri. Win 7 games every year and you’re fine. Everywhere else you’re getting fired.

I think Tennessee is a better job than OU or Florida. More resources in a great state with no rivals in state.

In what way does Tennessee have more resources than Florida? The rest you might be right on, but I don’t see how Tennessee has more resources than Florida

I’ve heard Klatt and Pate talk about this list and they agreed 100% with the top 3 tiers

I also agree and don’t see how you could argue any different. Almost every national person has said UGA Texas Bama and LSU are the big 4

Best- UGA
Elite- Texas, Bama, LSU
One tier down- A&M, OU, Florida, Tenn, Auburn

Last tier- everyone else

Please enlighten us on why you think Texas is the best job...

Why do you gaf what a random neckbeard on an anonymous message board thinks?
I’d be ok with dead last in his “ranking.”
I’m more interested in what *actual* coaches with non-cyber pedigrees think.

Ahhhh...... the competing smells of porking smoking and a pulp-wood plant. Nothing quite like the smell of smoking hickory and rotten eggs! The added plus is you can buy various illegal drugs on every street corner and get your exercise in by dodging lead coming at you at high velocity. You might even get lucky and get to interact with an Alabama athlete too!.
