If you could make a head coaching change (with no issues or questions asked) would you?

No, but it is a good question.

Let's just say this. If Mich comes calling again and Miles leaves, I would love to have Brian Kelly as our next HC.

Honestly after watching Washington's offense and qb production I would be very worried if Sarkisian(sp) had LSU talent with a better qb to work with. If he was coaching LSU, LSu would have a much better qb(not that Jefferson is horrible) but Locker was very impressive. Serious question is Locker more athletic than Jefferson? I think he is a better qb but what about athlete?

Slo Flo:

I think Kelly would be a great HC in the SEC. Maybe South Carolina will get him this year when SOS hangs it up.

If what I've heard is right, Locker runs a 4.3-4.4 40 and is damn impressive throwing the ball. As for the OP, as long as Miles is the head coach, brings in top-10 recruiting classes, 10-win seasons, and corrects any mistakes he happens to make post haste, I'm sticking with him. If and when he leaves I'll be open to the discussion of who I'd like to replace him.

If it were an obvious upgrade.. sure. I think every school would say the same thing.

He's a year removed from a National Championship, last year was his first season not to hit the 10-win plateau, he constantly hauls in great talent, and he's a coach with great character and compassion for his players.

I realize his stock his down after last year and that he'll never be respected in the media due to his poor articulation, but why on earth would I want to trade a man with those credentials?

The only way I want a new coach is if Miles decides to leave on his own.

Nah, you knew what you were getting with Saban.. lots of defense, running the ball up the middle, lots of Aights, maybe a sansabelt outfit or two

with Les Miles the game is never fricking boring, half the time i want to kill him and have the time i want to hug him, i always expect him to do something crazy like punt on first down or do a hook and ladder play in the second quarter or even have someone drop kick a field goal just for the hell of it

you can say what you want about him, but he is solid fricking gold as far as entertainment value, in just 2007 alone i think i spent $500 on rolaids and TUMS.

South Carolina is a coaching graveyard. If Kelly wants his career to peak with 8-4 SEC East runner-up years, then USCe is the place to go.
