I love how the paranoid LSU fans think anyone outside of LSU gives a shite about what’s going on with the governor or with Kelly’s contract buyout. Yes it’s on national TV but coaching candidates will have forgotten about it so quick it doesn’t even matter.
You think if they offer someone $16 million a year they’re gonna worry that the governor got involved to fire a bad head coach. Just like less miles used to say, if they don’t have the chest for it, then I don’t want them as next head coach
F this dirtbag, suck-arse of a coach. He basically stole $10 million a year bragging how he was going to win an NC and couldn't even sniff the playoffs.

I don't understand anyone wanting to pay this man his full salary. You try every angle you can to get him to settle for less. It may not work, but try much harder than he tried to win here.

The only weakness I see is that we only have 2 legit point guards

Unless there is an injury, why would we need more than 2 legit PGs.

I'm 53 and starting running again after a long layoff due to my health. I'm also at least 30 pounds heavier than I want to be.

I use a joint supplement called Chondroitin & Glucosamine, along with Turmeric. It has been a life saver for me for inflammation after a run. I don't know if this is the same issue you have been having, but it was a game changer for me. I have zero issues with my joints now.

* If you go this route, make sure to get the turmeric with black pepper for better absorption. It is a little more expensive, but worth it.
The OP has the most "Saints" perspective possible. Why in the world would you put yourself through it?

We need to win a few games (4 or 5) and be competitive in all the other games. We aren't making the playoffs by winning our division this year. Getting the #1 overall pick isn't that much greater than getting the #3 pick.

For those Tiger fanatics that have a little too much optimism, how about you worry about the next game in front of you. If you can't beat Bama, you don't have to think about 13 different scenarios to figure if LSU still has a mathematical chance to make the playoffs.
Maybe I didn't present that info correctly. I have Pickens. My opponent has J. Williams. I'm up 3, but J. Williams is predicted to outscore Pickens by more than 3 points.

I got this saturday night from someone I would believe but wouldn't bet my life on. The word is that Rousse will be announced tomorrow (tuesday), Schroyer will follow him but not as AD. He'll be below that level as either an assitant to the AD or assitant to the president. That won't be announced tomorrow but will come in the next week or two. Also, he spoke to a trustee and the trustee said they're going to shock the whole world with the coaching hire. That to me only says one thing. I'm not necessarily standing behind this but that's what I heard. We'll know tomorrow if the first part is true.

Seems legit.

The only reason I see him coming back is to kill this narrative that he cant win in the NIL era, that he only won because of superior resources, etc.

He comes back and does it now, hes undisputed goat for eternity. Added bonus of unfinished business at LSU.

If he takes the job or not, he IS the undisputed king of college football head coaches. No one else can sniff his jock.
I was at that game on the 40 yard line (lower section) dead in the middle of all Alabama fans (one good friend with me). I couldn't see an LSU fan for 2 sections minimum, and it was just another couple of fans like me in the Bama section.

I remember Bama having a bad secondary, and I told all the gumps prior to the game, All during the game, and as they were leaving the game, that Reed was about to "Go Off".

If I had a dollar for every gump that wanted to punch me in the face that night, I'd would have retired that night.

This guy should have 60% of the decision, and everyone else should split the other 40%. He is a huge donor, played for LSU, his son plays for LSU, he is very smart (President of Bollinger Shipyards), he knows football, and bleeds purple and gold.

These hypothetical questions are ridiculous.

It is hypothetical, but based on him being a top candidate to coach next year's team, so how is it ridiculous to think if he was hired last year, that we can't guess what the outcome would be?

I'm asking for a vote on people's opinion of where LSU would be with Kiffin.
He should at least get an interview.
And I own a million dollar home with unlimited cash resources to help pay for the next head coach.

Not
If I could rub a genie lamp and get some wishes, I would ask that Saban be hired. He could hire assistants to be a HC in waiting, while he ascends the program for 2-3 years.

I'd then wish for an unlimited amount of wishes.
For a model / actress, she doesn't make my top 100.
