The Saints are the only division leader to have had only 3 of the first 8 games at home (pretty sure may have missed one. Some teams that are leading their division have played 5 of 8 at home. That is going to swing the other way now but I just found it interesting.
I think it needs to be the 5 major conference champions and three at large chosen by the committee. 8 team playoff... It only adds 1 game to the season that we have now.

I think that is where it will go eventually.

If you are for example the Big 10 conference the 4 team playoff is going to be a hard sell if it's conference champion doesn't get in the playoff. Just as the SEC would have a fit if the SEC champion is left out. I know that sounds dumb that the SEC champ would be left out but the current method of chosing the teams makes that a real possibility especially if the SEC Champ has 2 loses. If Florida State, Michigan State, Oregon, and TCU won out and the SEC Champ has 2 loses you can't tell me it won't be on the table.

To me that is a major flaw that must be corrected and can only be corrected with an 8 team playoff.
I was thinking the same thing, our win over a top 4 team is easily better than any of OKs wins and our losses are to 2 teams ranked in the top 4

I don't get being ranked behind them either

Why is the fact that Auburn and MS would be 2 losses for just about every team in the top 25 ever brought up.

Why say Michigan State for example is better than LSU if you think Auburn and MS would be losses for Michigan State. (clearly they think that are they wouldn't be ranked ahead of them)

It makes the argument for not playing a hard schedule a legitimate one, why play a top school if a loss to a top school is worse than just not playing anybody.
I hope the refs stay out of the way in two weeks...

Honestly this is my favorite game of the year, it usually delivers on my favorite things in college football - huge hits, snot bubbles, big plays, crazy endings, and great memories
I don't think he makes the team

Then good or bad this will go away to an extent

If Brandon Coleman does make the team and does get playing time I think Stills might be the one he splits time with

Can't remember the last time we had such an explosive group of receivers.

I don't post much but I did want to throw out that Cooks reminds me of a faster Joe Horn (when he was in his prime)
I don't want to listen to Fajita's Obama loving arse talk about jack shite.
I have a small collection, maybe 20-30 knives.

My favorites are the ZT 561, Spyderco Para 2, Spyderco Sage 1&2.

Here is my 561, I love this thing.

I carry the Bodyguard .380, but I have a Colt Mustang on order.

Ordered it in February....
If I step out of my house I am armed.

I have been carrying a S&W Bodyguard .380 in a Crossbread Mini-Tuck. Very comfy in dress clothes and shorts and tshirt.

I believe it is my responsibility to take care of my family and myself. I am sure that a good portion of the people that were in that theater will now believe the same thing.

re: Uplula magazine loader

The Uplula is awesome. Best loader for double stacks I have seen.

If you shoot any .22 auto loaders (Ruger or Buckmarks) you need to check out the Ultimate Clip Loader. You can get then on Amazon for $24. I can load 5 magazines for my wife's buckmark in about 20 seconds.
frick snakes. If you Turkey hunt you will have a strong distain for snakes.

I shoot every snake I see. frick snakes.
I just ordered a mini-tuck for a colt mustang. All of the reviews I see are great but I have not had one myself. If I like it I am going to get one for a glock 19 as well.
I am going to back hand every one of you frickers that said a piece of shite Taurus.

For fricks sake.

My vote would be anything that John Moses Browning designed. The 1911, Hi-Power, M2, and on and on and on.

Are there any fish in this river? Bream, saccalait, cats, etc? I can set out yo-yos, trot lines, and catch any fish on a pole. Does anyone have any pointers on some weekend fishing that would include an ice chest of beer and easy fishing?

When I was younger we put out box traps and cheese for blue cat and trot lines as well. You can catch bass but most are small and you can catch all the perch and catfish you want.

Also - saccalait? I think you mean white perch.

Red Jacket is such a joke.

In praise of Thermacell

If not for my Thermacell I am pretty sure the flying vampires would have literally drove me to insanity Sunday morning while Turkey hunting. what a great device it is and I give it my total recommendation to anyone that has yet to purchase one.

Also makes sitting on the back porch possible late in the evening in Louisiana.
I have been temped to get a colt rail gun after shooting one a few weeks ago. Easily one of the nicest shooting guns I have ever shot.
