You have no defense. LSU already exposed how overrated they were. They got high stats from playing no offenses all year and mostly backup QBs.

So now you are trashing your offense? You even had your starter, and we beat his arse down like we did to Kerry.

Considering how good burrow is, our d could have done far worse vs LSU. See OU, Florida, and bama.

I'll add more since I triggered at least edit: eight Dawg fans:

That you guys think this "okay" Quarterback from a middling ACC team is going to be a better passer and you guys keep citing these sites on how incredible of a passer he is -- why didn't he declare early when Fromm did?

So he's going to transfer to a team where he doesn't even know anyone, get behind an entirely new offensive line (both in experience starting and simply being a transfer), throw to receivers he hasn't met while losing out on Cager and Swift -- and he will immediately be an upgrade from Fromm?

I seriously have no idea how this is a second coming Quarterback who is staying behind in college while being significantly better than Fromm who went to the Draft early.

It is completely unreasonable and illogical.

How is he not fit to throw to a wide open wr?

That deep seated fear I spoke of? It’s showing itself again. What an idiotic question.

This guy is not better than Fromm. If they change the offense he and Georgia could get to a different level.

Reality is Georgia has played very good football for many many years. Just not quite over the last hurdle.

This guy probably will not be the missing piece.

SEC QBs for 2020 don’t like like the strongest and most established group. So maybe things are more open

Sec East will not be that strong again. Other than playing Bama early Georgia does not have another tough game until Florida.

I don’t really get the fuss about this

Fromm couldn’t hit simple wide open td passes, so you need to edit.

3 last heisman winners were transfer QB’s. Why did they have success? Do you think Newman will have more talent around him at UGA or Wake Forest?

Nah you guys definitely got Joe Burrow 2.0.

I'm just so unhappy that you guys got so lucky to have a better passer than Fromm even though Fromm declared.

All of these lofty expectations and another year with no National Championship in the 2020 season.

Who has claimed any of that? UGA’s options were Beck or Bennett for next year until Newman came in the mix. Are you saying Bennett or Beck would be better than Newman?

Straws is having his annual “uga is gonna fall off a cliff” meltdown. So far he has been proven wrong each time.

I mean Georgia looked markedly worse in 2019 than they did in 2018 -- just finished the year better.

However, Georgia was not a top 5 team this season. LSU proved that.

Now you're losing your QB, best WR, best RB and 4/5 offensive linemen -- you've retained your failure of an OC (not your words) and replaced Fromm with middle-rung ACC QB.

That you guys think this transition is going to be seamless is hilarious.

Edit: Nah, not seamless -- you guys think it will be an improvement.

Uga was a top 5 team in the final playoff poll in 2017 and 2018 and 2019. Way better than you ever expected, 3 years in a row.

Improvement in passer accuracy and mobility to be specific. Funny you left that out.

You clearly didn’t watch Jake fromm miss open wrs last year, and forget he can’t run, so you dont have the knowledge base to make an informed opinion.

What? We had much better defense and woulda had a more than solid offense if it hadn't been for suspending our best returning WR and losing multiple others to
injury.

Once again, you said we were gonna suck in '18 and again in '18 so what does it matter?

Just STFU! You keep repeating the same bullshite. We were without our top 4 playmakers for all or part of the game including Swift.

I thought we were gonna lose by 14 at the WLOCP.Wjat happened?BTW,you still think CTG was.a.good hire?

You won by a td. I cant wait for next season.

Neither can we. UF isn’t scoring 20 next year on that D so it really doesn’t matter who the UGA QB is. UGA won’t have enough juice for the natty but they’ll have plenty for the gators.

- and he will immediately be an upgrade from Fromm?

He doesn’t have to be. He just has to be better than Trask. And that’s not too much to ask.
