You think this kid is closer to Hurts? . It will be interesting to see what he can do with more talent around him. But don’t get your hopes up that a kid that was at Wake, a mid tier ACC team who you make fun of, playing behind a new OL is going to take you to the CFP. But Georgia will be playing Florida for the East probably.

An incredibly unimpressive 10-3 team that finished unranked. A roster so gifted that exactly one player was drafted after his first season.
In one year, he flushed the bad depth and upgraded the roster across the board to the level that it could compete at a playoff level. A roster makeover that Mullen proved incapable of.

I will admit I never saw his guys in a new Raptor or saying "My family's now taken care of after they signed a LOI" so I guess that has something to do with it.

That 10-3 featured an OT win over Georgia Southern and exactly zero ranked wins, iirc. You ever heard of another 10 win SEC team not be ranked?
The three losses: Bama blowout at home, Florida blowout in Jax, loss at Tennessee.
That team was not close to what it was in 2012 and then later in 2017. The talent level and depth fell way off. That’s why Richt was fired.

Can you tell me the differences between hurts and Bryant when they met in 2017? They both looked pedestrian.
