Hes not even a good gameday coach.

So whats the excuse for not blowing us out? Based on talent alone, it should've been over before halftime.

I am with you on this.

A true DT QB can step into a college system and have more immediate success than pro-style QBs who have to work on complex timing. In the pros, you want a pro-style who has unlimited training time with his offense. In college, you want a QB who stresses defenses and stretches them out. And, you want good backups, but the risk is higher... but, so is the reward.

Did you think your coaching staff did a good job vs UGA?

We were blowing you out.

But instead of running a hurry up offense (which gives us the ball back faster whether you are successful or not) Mullen decided to drain the clock in the 4th and sit on the loss.

He took a guaranteed loss to avoid giving us the ball back.

I'm sure your beat writers have asked him about that decision. What did he say?
Malzahn and Fisher didnt make the same mistake and actually gave their teams a chance at tying the game or even winning. But they arent rookie head coaches making rookie mistakes.

So you had the chance to bury a hated rival and didn't? Yeah, ok.

What’s interesting is when the guy entered the portal a couple Georgia fans posted never heard of him and now his the the GOAT. Coming from a total outsider and being objective, the guy has some potential and it will be interesting to see what he can do with more talent around him. But he’s closer to Kelly Bryant than Jalen Hurts. He will be ok, not good, but he is serviceable.

News flash though. Not too many QB will flourish when most of the time they only pass on obvious passing downs

It’s interesting that he had a higher passer rating at wake than Bryant did at Clemson in 2017.

Are you a simpleton? Mullen ran a 14 play drive. No one is blowing anyone out when the clock is bled. Hell. UF didnt give itself a chance to even make 1 offensive play for the tie.
So, UF had a chance to run hurry up to get back into the game. And Mullen decided not to. And you are OK with that because... 7 points is better than the past few years.

OK.
I got it. You love Mullen waiving the white flag after the 3rd quarter. It is better than getting blown out. Mullen won the press conference because... 7 points.

If your team is a good as you guys say it was and Kirby is the god of coaching, should've been a 20 plus pt blowout.

Not one starter for UF would start for that UGA team. You won by a td. JS

Good luck next season with everyone jumping ship

Yeah. We have won 8 out of the last 10, I think. Malzahn loses a lot.

But Malzahn isnt a dumb enough coach to go into a shell after 3 quarters and down by 2+ scores.
What is Mullens excuse? I'm sure the beat writers asked him why? I'm sure an experienced head coach has a reason why he made a rookie mistake. The only comment I remember from the press conference gets repeated a lot by UF fans. 7 points.

Are UF fans content with losing a game by 7 guaranteed points? Or would they rather try for the win with 15 minutes left?

It didn’t help that we had to settle for multiple field goal after Fromm missed a td, or that we had a td called back, or that we went prevent late in the game, or that your first td pass was questionable.

Great strawman.
I will let go ahead find those quotes by me.

You are obviously comfortable losing to us by 7. You have no questions for Mullen on his gameday coaching? Those are black and white decisions that had a black and white outcome for the game. And Mullen had a very black and white response postgame (7 points).
And not 1 fan or media member has the balls to stop and say,"wait. Wtf just happened?"

I'm actually disappointed in UF fans more than disappointed in their experienced HC. You usually have a reputation for understanding the game of football.

Then why were y’all all predicting a win?

UGA didn’t bury UF. Dan Mullen did that before UGA had the chance.

Yeah, here we go. I love the "I understand the game better than you" posters.

Do you coach? If you did you would know that talent matters and UGA was far better talent wise than UF this season yet you came away with a 7 point win. Then got fkn embarrassed by LSU with everyone watching.
I mean really, How many more 5s does Kirby need to win the big one?

Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt he transferring because he was tired of getting banged up on QB runs?

Uga won because of their O line.

And Grantham's scheme. He zoned up Uga all day, gave them a soft cushion. Which was stupid.

And the refs gave you 4 points.

Can Mullen even get to the point of participating in a big one?
