Own is a strong word. We’ve had their number, but the games are always close. I think we’ve even had two OT games in the past 10 years. Heated games.

Hasn't everybody in the SEC owned arkansas the last 10 years?

But they feel as though they are too good to be playing us and A&M.

Head to head wins don’t count. Unless they use the Argument against teams like Texas.

I don’t think any Arkansas fan hates play Aggie. That is one that has a rival game feel to it due to the old SWC and 50% of our student body coming from the state of Texas

Not at all.

I guess it was inevitable that Arkansas would get paired up with South Carolina since they joined the same year...

But I don't think that game ever got on the radar screen nationally. Arkansas-A&M. Arkansas-LSU would draw attention most years. I think Arkansas-Missouri COULD if the teams got good. The Ole Miss and Tennessee games had their moments for sure.

No team will benefit from the Texas and Oklahoma entering the conference more than Arkansas. Renewing the Texas rivalry and starting one with OU will give Arkansas a lot more exposure if those series are competitive.

We've already got OU. And to a slightly lesser extent aggy.

Leave us alone.

We don't mind TAMU, and Missouri is one of those weak arse efforts to manufacture a rivalry in a petree dish.

At least with the Carolina game, it started out with the Steve Taneyhil mullet games, giving a stable face to our new conference 'rival'; it was nice enough to grow organically, with some good low key important games.

Its the home to the SEC record for yards rushing in a game, and has seen blows to both sides when it came to coaching legacies-- like I'll always maintain the decline of Lou Holtz at SC started with the overtime loss in 2001.

I miss our Gamecock game.

Arkansas is 6-5 vs Texas since we came to the SEC.

LOVED our USCe game. Especially when Holtz was there. Carlos Hall blocking GWFG in LR was a great memory

Arkansas and South Carolina were good games because they were good teams.

Arkansas and Texas A&M games are good because it is earlier in the season and it draws plenty of interest.

Arkansas and LSU games even more so because some of the games determined who went to Atlanta.

Arkansas and Missouri games doesn't draw much interest from causal viewers because both teams are bad, beaten to hell and have nothing to play for except a crap bowl game.

I had written that out to Rambo, but thought, he should know it’s really just Mizzou.

I think most hog fans consider A&M a mild rival. Jerry World is not ideal but nobody dislikes playing A&M. Even though y'all have beat us 9 of 10. Seems to invalidate the whole "Arkansas fans don't like to play Mizzou because they lose"

Did your fanbase enjoy the cross-division games with SC over the years? Even though our states are about as far apart as they can be from an SEC standpoint, there just seemed to be something fun about the games since both schools entered the SEC together in the 90's.

Yet can’t win and 2 more wins than Vandy since 2012.

You’re not better than San Jose St.

No it just mans you're okay with losing to Texas A&M, because a big school from Texas should beat Arkansas.

Missouri should never, ever beat Arkansas but they always do. We have a similar thing going with TCU.
