Probably would've been better for you not to have posted this

Jameis Winston isn’t even good and is exceptionally better than all those QBs.

Tennessee fans are easily the dumbest posters on this board.

Tennessee is tied for 1st place with the most QB’s drafted from the SEC since the NFL merger(1967).

Take out Peyton and tell everyone here what Vile QB amounted to anything in the NFL.

This wasn’t a Joe Milton thread. But on this list, Milton isn’t even top 5 on this list. He’s a freakish athlete

Nah. Freakish athletes don't pass on 5 of the 7 events in the combine.

Anthony Richardson is a freakish athlete.

So quarterback is not the most important position in football?

I hear that some school has produced QBs that have won 2 of the last 5 Heismans.

I would take having one Manning over what every other school in this league has produced in the last 30 years. The only school that can out brag us there is Michigan.

You'd rather one good pro quarterback instead of multiple natty winners at the college level?

Ok then...

Manning doesn't play defense and offense ffs. He was still elite as it gets in college and the NFL. Plus this thread title is in regards to next level production.

Manning is an all time great QB whether you like it or not. Multiple record holder and two time superbowl winner on two different teams. Made it there four times.

Bama and LSU fans seem to have serious reading comprehension problems.

I've heard of people wiping their asses with a lot of different things, but never a Florida State.

Not really.

In his best season, he only completed 60% of his passes for 3800 yards, 36 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

It definitely gets more elite than that.

For instance, Jayden Daniels completed 72% of his passes for 3800 yards, 40 touchdowns and 4 interceptions this past season.

And Daniels is viewed as a run first quarterback here.

Neither does any other modern QB.

No it's not. It's quite literally about QBs getting drafted, not their NFL production.

Are you really comparing a 90s CFB QB stats from the QB position today?

You do realize that the rules have changed completely to benefit modern offenses, especially to promote higher QB stats because most casual fans prefer higher scoring games right?

And this board has the nerve to call me dumb? JD would have been broken in half back then about like Bama did to him this year.

Modern day college football is basically flag football compared to the 90s and below though.

Position-U generally isn't about where players were drafted but rather how good they were in the NFL. Manning was awesome as a UT player in the NFL, but they don't have a whole lot after that.

When UGA tries to make an argument for RB U (something that I don't think is really valid anymore), Terrell Davis (a late round pick who wasn't dominating in college but was a NFL great) counts more than Lars Tate (a great college player and early draft pick who failed at the NFL level).
