Again, the storm is already north of Miami. I don't think Miami even got any rain.

I have a good idea it would cost less than it would cost to buy out both South Alabama and Presbyterian, reimburse LSU ticket holders as well as LSU for lost gameday revenue for the SAU game

Great point, and LSU certainly has a right to that profit. The fans also have a right to that game too (IMO). Sankey would certainly have to come up with a fair and equitable compensation for that option. I with you 100% on that

No neutral site arena offered anything. The monetary and logistical loss was never offered. Why would a business ask to lose money by scrounging together law enforcement and personnel for a game they have no way of recouping the money?

You have no idea what was discussed

The state of Florida has no idea where law enforcement officers are needed in 2 days along a coastline that is expected to be demolished, and you want them committed to protecting a football game?

Yet they wanted to play the game on Sat morn

I understand not wanting to buy out the other games. It would have only cost Florida .5 million and LSU would have had to pay 1.5 million. Arrangements could have been Made earlier, last week even. But now is not the time to be talking football. If Florida comes out of this relatively unscathed, then give their pussy asses hell......but not now.

So it's going to be devastating, yet all those other games will go on and take resources away from the recovery? How bad will it look when Louisiana sends resources while those games take in-state resources away from affected areas?

You keep trying to have it multiple ways, and it's not possible.

SEC office would have paid both. No money would have come out of either school's pocket for the buy-out.

So if and when LSU gets a lesser bowl or gets shafted out of the championship game would that not affect our business that is LSU in a big freakn way? There were options out there where Florida could have made money BUT they decided to opt out of that option. I'm sure there were more but they had our stadium as an option also. This is bullshite also!!

It would, and honestly, I can't see a situation where the game isn't played if any of those scenarios were to come to pass. Even if they have to push back the SECCG, you would be due your game. I'm not saying Florida is the only University with $ in this pot. Everyone (I mean all schools in the SEC) is going to have to subsidize this cluster frick in one way or another. Remember, conference money is split across the conference. When shite like this happens, we're all pitching in to unfrick this whore.

UF never had a plan B, they mocked every LSU offer I find a way to play the game. It was play in Gainesville or forfeit.

LSU lost a home game last season dumbass!

BR didn't. The businesses reaped the economic benefit of the lead in to a game. The fans were there in the stadium and got to see a team cancel because they were afraid of a little lightning.

It was despicable, the level of pussification in Debt Valley that night. And I wanted to see that game.

game was rescheduled. UF doesn't even know what Gainesville will look like 24 hours from now.

Uf fans last night said it was just 4inches of rain and some wind. Nothing more. Apparently they knew more than the rest of us that kept telling them they're fools playing with a loaded gun.

The eye was projected to be further out in the Atlantic yesterday and we were to only be under a tropical storm watch. Unfortunately, it jogged to the west this morning. There will be no flooding from this, so that little LSU talking point is untrue.

Flooding? Who said anything about flooding? Of course flooding won't be an issue. Most cities are shutting off pumps.

You're creating you're own arguments now.
