First off congrats on a huge epic win at Bammers!

That said, winning a big game against a good team does not a season make and next year you are going to have to go week in and week out against SEC schools all year long.

Being in this league is not about winning a big game and then playing Kansas and Texas Tech and Baylor the rest of the year.

Florida, Arkansas, Aggie, Vandy, Kentucky and Cowbells might not seem daunting right now but it's not the size of the dumbbell, it's the reps in the set. Oh and also Georgia.

Enjoy this year. shite's about to get real in a hurry!

Which is exactly why Texas is leaving the Big 12? Some members on this board are shockingly very slow to comprehend this…

Maybe you should've played your future 2028 starter...

What an excuse....

You fielded your best team. Wasn't good enough. Feel free to ponder that.

Meh until Texas is in the playoffs and makes some actual postseason noise it's hard to wash off the stink from the last 13 seasons

What was the excuse for last year when it took a herculean effort from your heisman winning starter to squeak out a 1 point win against our gimpy backup?

Ok , riddle me this, what Big 12 teams do you believe we could get a W from today? We shouldn’t be talking shite about any other P5 teams until we get our shite right again. We looked like a JV practice squad in Utah last week.

believe it or not we are aware of this. We know the SEC is 10x the conference the Big 12 is. We're not afraid. Don't mistake that for an arrogance that we'll come in and win. We know it's going to be a dog fight every week and I have ZERO expectations about going in an winning that conference right away. We have a LOT of work ahead of us.

Best comment about the SEC was on a Bama Board years ago (wish I had bookmarked it)

Tide had played the Dores and was doing the post game analysis. Talked about all the time Bama had the ball. Talked about Tide dominating the stats. Other Bama superiority and this person was at the game. At the very end said they near the end they "felt" like the Tide should be up by at least 40, looked at the score board and only a FG or so separated them.

Lesser SEC football schools may not be in the CFP hunt but most will end the season of a power SEC school that should have been. UK before Joker was the poster child of this type of team.
