I believe Stoops will have Kentucky back to winning ways next season. Maybe have a record of 8-4. If Stoops can beat Ole Miss this season and beat some of the others next season.

How can their staff have a history of developing QB’s. They’ve had basically Bryant & Cook. Not much of a sample size since Drink’s 1st season in 2019.

Considering how few college QBs make it to the NFL, it’s funny how you make it sound like it’s easy to get there. Not many top line NFL QBs out there. Those guys played & had longevity. You are clueless.

All I can say is there’s a decent amount of Penn st fans I’ve seen say they wished he would be the starter over Allar next year. Not most, but enough to get my attention

you can say that about most teams.

Bama fans wanting Ty Simpson over Milroe. Texas fans wanting Manning over Ewers. The examples are endless.

The reality is that if the coach doesn't make the change, it probably means the backup isn't as good.

I remember when UF fans were clamouring for Anthony Richardson over Emory Jones. Mullen kept saying that Richardson wasn't ready. Finally he said "frick it" and put Richardson in for a half.

He was garbage. Jones came in to relieve him and played batter in the second half.

Coaches start who they start for a reason.

The fact Pribula couldn't beat out Allar, who's not that productive a QB, is not a good sign for Mizzou in this deal.

What part of "market rate" don't you communists understand?

Duke paid 4 million for Mensah.

Auburn paid 2 million for a Quarterback that failed as a starter in 2024.

Ole Miss is paying Simmons more as well, who has done less that Pribula.

It's funny to see how jealous everyone is.

The classless LSU fans are especially angry lol

During the 2023 season there was a large contingent of PSU fans hoping Pribula would be the full time starter. The offense pre-Kotelnicki had a much better flow with him in the game as his ability to run really opened up the offense.

Heading into next season I think that most if not all PSU fans wanted Pribs to stay for mobile packages, but with Allar coming back we get that he wants to start elsewhere.

Hope he plays well at Mizzou and can be a full-time starter.

Jayden Daniels 2 year LSU career would have been the golden age of Missouri athletics.

Well, I could argue the reason for that is Franklin is stupid.

Jayden Daniels was going to Mizzou until BK entered the picture.

Pribula was underutilized at PSU. Franklin did the kid a major disservice by not using him much inside the red zone many times this year. Allar is a decent QB but he can’t get to the edges of most defense. He is a mobile QB between the tackles but Pribula is quick

What are you talking about??

Big Game Brian and LSU went 20-7 under Daniels.
Mizzou under Cook is already 20-5 with a chance to win 21 this week.

And Cook won the Cotton Bowl while Daniels won the Citrus Bowl.

In the NFL.

But that wasn’t the issue.

All those listed had very good college stats, and that is what we’re talking about here. All got drafted and some pretty high.

UGA is paying something like 100K each for 3 QB's this year who were better recruits than Pribula.

Pribula was the #464 player in his class, a 3-star.

UGA has Gunner Stockton, Jaden Rashada and Ryan Puglisi who are all 4-star guys who were ranked between 80-130 in their class.

You're shopping in the wrong market. It's the overpriced but unproven backup college QB market... while you should be shopping in the mid-tier 4-star HS QB market and let them learn your system for 2-3 years and then play (and pay) them or cut them loose if the coaches don't think they're good enough.

The reality is UGA gave no money to Jaden Rashada in the transfer market other than the promise of what every UGA player gets NIL wise (all UGA players, even walk-ons get a base NIL deal for being on the team... enough to cover room, board, classes and books if they aren't on scholarship).

Paying over a million to a 3-star recruit with 50 pass attempts as opposed to virtually nothing for a 4-star recruit with 80 pass attempts... which is the better move in general in your eyes?

Usually when fans question coaches about the starter and we actually see the backup get the start... it proves the coaches right.

The coach being proven wrong about who was playing is the exception rather than the rule. Occasionally there's a Tua who comes in and makes you say "why wasn't he starting all along". But that's NOT the norm.

It's funny because fans don't learn.

Last year BOTH of Bama's backups got to play a ton of minutes when Milroe got benched. They sucked. Against USF.

Bama fans are still calling for Simpson to play over Milroe, even though he proved the coaches were right not to play him over Milroe once already.

Fans are dumb when it comes to backup QB's.
