Arkansas Ozarks are wonderful but eastern part of the state is like Mississippi.

Eastern Oklahoma has the sketchiest people ive ever seen. Its depressing as hell. Meth recovery billboards everywhere and god forbid if you ever stop for gas at one of those gas station casinos. Its sad.
Makes the people on the TV show Ozark look fancy

But the whole State of Louisiana smells like a sewer.

I've driven non stop from Texarkana to El Paso. But, I've also driven from Memphis to Albuquerque non stop on the way to Vegas. I was much younger then. I didn't need as much as sleep.

Mountains or beaches would be considered best of both worlds in my opinion. Tennessee is a beautiful state, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves

Basically, the best parts of Arkansas and Oklahoma are the regions that border Missouri. That should tell you all you need to know about how beautiful Missouri is.

10. Mississippi- I’m sorry, MS, there’s just not much going on there for nature.
Tell me you have never watched a sunrise in a MS duck blind or a sunset from a MS deer stand.

Every region is beautiful except the Central and Western parts and for whatever reason that's what people associate Oklahoma with.
Because they've either never been to OK or if they have, they never left I-35 or I-40 or only spent some time in OKC once.

I don't understand this. I love the northeast.

Northeast Arkansas has a unique combination of mountains and the delta.

My theory on this for college sports fans is that people fly into OKC... stay in downtown OKC... go to Norman for the game and then back to OKC.
So all they get to see is the flood plain between the Canadian Rivers and just assume the whole state looks like that.

Have to tell you, the Northeast is super underrated for nature. Upstate NY alone has so much to offer

Being from Oklahoma and having lived for some years in Texas I gotta say this, you ranked both of em too high.
The best part of Texas I ever saw was visiting the Gulf Coast, the rest of it not so much.
As for Oklahoma, don't get me wrong I love the place. Heck, Norman, which I always called the little green spot on the prairie, is and always will be The Cultural Center of the Universe but mountains? Really?
And canyons? I guess there is Red Rock but that's about it.
If you have ever been to such scenic meccas as Gotebo or Slick you'd understand.
