Mizzou is also losing their best defender. Who does Mizzou think they will get for DC? Which HS is he coming from?

Drinkwitz told him to look around and he did and that saved him from getting fired. Drinkwitz wasn't high on him after first year or he would have retained him. I am glad he found another job and not being fired. Drinkwitz must have someone in his mind what he wants from his new DC. I guess Arkansas was hoping Drinkwitz would fail to find a better replacement. It is about competing for the east division and beyond. It isn't about wining 7-8 games a year. Also he did mention that he wanted to hire his own DC that can help improve the defense that struggled on passing plays. where is Missouri ranked in the new preseason 2021 in the SEC?

I am not surprised to see Arkansas fans thinks Drinkwitz will flopped to hire a better DC than the one Odom hired when he was at Mizzou as the HC. Good new for Mizzou and the defense should improved this coming fall!

A&M too high - 7
They have to replace 4/5 starters on oline assuming no one comes back for extra year
Brand new QB

A 6'3" dual threat who runs a 4.5 and has more potential in year 1 than Mond would have coming back for year 5.

LOL we won't need an OL.

State will be better than Tennessee, auburn and Missouri next year. Arkansas and Ole Miss about equal.

We have a lot of young talent that performed well the 2nd half of the season

Leach will be Leach! Look at what he has done at every stop. He kept underachieving from time to time. Not likely he will be a 9 win team regularly at MSU.

Bama won't be preseason number 1, they are losing a lot of starters

Has that ever mattered to Saban with his immense roster of 5 stars?

We were preseason #3 this year, so......

#1 - Clemson (38 1st votes)
#2 - Ohio State (21 1st votes)
#3 - Alabama (2 1st votes)

No way we should be ranked #1 in the SEC until we prove that we can beat Alabama or LSU for that matter which we haven't.

Because they are pretty much in the top of the SEC every year despite players leaving and coaching turnover every offseason

They earned it

well nobody earns a pre season ranking, but if you mean the benefit of the doubt, which is what pre season rankings really are, then ok

Who is doing the rankings, you?

Whoever it is needs to stop drinking so much.

Bama's finished 1st in the SEC under Saban 7 out of 14 times and won the national championship 2 of the years he didn't finish first. You are crazy to pick anyone but Bama.

As LSU and Auburn announce their coaching hires, they certainly have to fall in the preseason rankings.

And if Auburn hires Mike Bono, South Carolina has to rise in the rankings.
