Oklahoma win beat Missouri easily next season. Won't even be close.

They get a favorable sec schedule and get a couple 5 stars from their back yard and suddenly think they are beating teams that are top 6 in talent in the whole country.

turned the ball over 5 times and still should have won. OU also had some key injuries after beating Texas that contributed. Things like that do happen but not often when the talent gap is that large. OU has more 4 and 5 stars in the defensive backfield than Missouri has on the whole team. To just assume OU is a win for Mizzou any year is asinine.

You lost. It doesn’t matter. And talent alone doesn’t win games. And where did I assume it was a win? Reading is hard I see

So Oklahoma will do what nobody, including Georgia did this year? Blow us out? Looking forward to it.

Where is Mizzou ranked this year? Where is OU ranked this year?

Too much to play for in 2023 to even focus on that.

I'm guessing you're not much of a gum chewer.

Was Oklahomas schedule that much tougher? Talent isn’t everything. I’m looking at the results of both teams. You lost to Kansas and OSU. I’m not saying that equals an automatic win, but for you to think that equals an easy win for OU just shows you have no respect for SEC teams.

Right. He’s got too much going on now to focus on 2024 so he clicked on a thread about 2024. Makes sense.

Wouldn’t it make sense to ignore decades of program performance and pretend that one season is now the new norm forever? No, no it doesn’t make sense.

Ask Tennessee how that went for them this year.

So, just so I understand your position, it makes no difference whatsoever that we’re returning a seasoned quarterback and a wide receiver room stacked to the gills.

The criteria you use to determine how the succeeding season will play out is limited to:

1. You are Mizzou so analytics can be completely disregarded.

And my favorite in terms of relevance is…

2. Umm, well, umm…Tennessee

Jimmy the Greek you’re not

You are simply not a serious college football person.

Our schedule will be tough for sure, but realistically Oklahoma is not going 7-5. 9-3 floor, 11-1 ceiling.

Hoping to make it to Jordan-Hare, regardless of the outcome, Oklahoma will give you a good game.

2015 was a very good point to choose for assessing our SEC body of work.

How much of your Oline is coming back?
How many RBs are coming back?

It looks like 6 of 11 O starters were red shirt SR. With 3 more of the 2 deep also red shirt SR.

6 of the D starters are RSSR with 6 more from the 2 deep also RSSR.

Mizzou was a 1 and done team.

Florida has a real possibility of going 0-8. Other than Miss State I don’t see a win on their SEC schedule.

Georgia has a tough schedule, but I don’t see them losing more than one. I think they beat Texas though I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they beat us.

Barn will have to get a lot better QB play to go better than 4-4 even with that schedule.

I do agree there’s probably going to be several teams without a conference win.

You'll get blown out in your bowl game and figure out what a mirage your season really was, don't worry.

I think LSU loses to Ole Miss and Alabama for certain and possibly a 3rd in there also.

I agree that we got a pretty easy draw but we’re losing 90% of the receiving production, a new starting QB, will have a new OC, and hopefully breaking in a new DC. We return a lot of players on defense but I wouldn’t cry if at least half of those didn’t return.
