Predict OU's end of season record

2-1 so far. Rest of the schedule:

7-5 they always seem to win 1-2 games a year they shouldn't

I think losing always seems to make the rest look terrible.
Their defense will keep them in almost every game. Last year it was similar in that they won a number of close games and used defense/special teams to pull out the nailbiters.
They are probably an 8-4 type team based on what we have seen so far, which isn't much on offense

Not a fan of the Sooners…but they are better than they showed last week…much better. Defensively they are maybe the best in the co ference. I think the Michigan game was a fluke. They will definitely win 8….maybe 9. 9 depends on the Texas game.

Our defense will keep us in games. Mateer will randomly hit Satenga for a big TD at some point and that might be enough to win a game 13-10. Ill get downvoted, but I'll say 8-4.

Um, the offense is much worse than last year. Last year’s team would beat this year’s team.

Seriously? Name the seven wins on that schedule bc I don't see it. They still can't run the ball and the QB doesn't look like he's progressed since last year & they're up against the toughest remaining schedule of anyone.

Will it though? Haven't exactly played any offensive juggernauts to date. I keep hearing this and assume it is so but who is that tested the theory that the defense will keep OU in every game? And what does that mean, losing by less than one score? There is no doubt it will be the best defense UGA has faced to date. UGAs offense has looked like an NFL team playing high schools and the assumption is that UGAs offense is very good but that theory is as untested as the "defense will keep OU in every game".

last year Bama fans were predicting OU would lose all their games left ….. and Ou went into their home stadium and took it to them . College football is funny you lose to Michigan on the road by 7 and everyone thinks your losing every game .
Schedule makers for the sec have fricked OU so bad the first two years I hope we get a Texas type of schedule soon where we don’t play UGA and Bama in same season lol.

Im going with 9-3 and 50% they get in. They will beat Texas because thats how that series goes.

3-9 I think all the teams left on their schedule. Have better offenses than the sooner do.

You left out where they followed up the Michigan loss with a 14-6 stinker at home against New Mexico

Texas only plays two unranked teams the rest of the way and one of them is Oklahoma. Not sure they're really getting away with anything.

huh? they have had an easier path each of the last two years and it’s not been close ….. So again not playing uga and Bama the same year is an easier path . So yes they are getting away with it…. while OU isn’t .

Quick correction, we have not played Bama/GA in the same season. Tx has not played Bama/GA in same season. We played Bama first 2 years and they played GA. We play GA this year and not sure but think they play Bama?
And true, SEC gifted tx easy schedule first 2 years because they literally sucked. SEC used a formula going back like 5 years or so and used that record for all SEC teams to determine their first 2 years schedule. OU had a great record so got a harder schedule.
This year is just random schedule and it happens to be the teams we play are all doing great. But in a few weeks to month that can change.
