LOL at Tua being 1st team QB.
Yep. This why so many of us roll our eyes at any and all Bama coverage. The kid kicked arse in one half of football. Drew Lock is going to be a top 5 draft pick.

All this hype for Tua is incredible.
I know. All he did was come in down 13-0 in the most important game most football players will ever play in and proceed to lead his team to winning the 2nd half 26-10 and a national title. The kid deserves the hype he is being given. This wasn't an early season game against Arkansas, this was the national title game. The blind hatred for all things Bama by the posters on this site prevents any of you from giving respect to Bama players.

I'm so glad Athlon feels the need to give me the 4th team kicker

Put up almost the exact same statline as Hurts did against Clemson.
He played one half dumbass.

Drew Lock is going to be a top 5 draft pick.
Drew Lock threw 11 TDs and 7 INTs with a QB Rating of 124.93 against D1 teams with a winning record, good for 8th in the SEC (behind the likes of Hurts, Guarantano, Etling and Bentley and 0.5 pts better than Kyle Shurmur).
Against FBS teams with winning records
Lock : 6 games, 52%, 7.4 YPA, 245 YPG, 11 TD/7 INT
Shurmur : 7 games, 58%, 7.0 YPA, 240 YPG, 11 TD/9 INT
Drew Lock is a talented kid, but he's been supremely meh against teams with a pulse in his career, even compared to other QBs who have played on equally bad teams. I truly do not care one single bit about stats against SW Missouri State, Idaho or UConn. Not one single bit. They don't matter.
I'd take what Stidham and Fromm have shown against good teams over what Lock has done at this point.

Landis Durham led the SEC in sacks last year.
It’s not good to lie you know.
He finished fourth behind Montez Sweat (Miss St), Charles Wright (Vandy), and Jeff Holland (AUB).

I think Tue will be really good. However, he doesn’t have the experience to be crowned first team all sec yet. One half of football is not enough to say someone is already the best Qb. He shouldn’t be ahead of Fromm or Lock imo. No this isn’t “Bama hate”, we’re doing the exact same thing Bama fans were doing when JJ was getting hype for Auburn a few years ago. Stop being hypocrites.

No D'Andre Walker, list is shite.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Scarlett and Toney on the list. Think Zuniga deserves a nod on the DL but hard to argue against anyone in front of him, the league is always stacked there.

Fromm is the best returning QB and he didn't even make the top All-SEC teams. What a joke.

a was a true freshman playing his first significant minutes of his college career in the biggest game.
The Alabama offense looked completely different with him on the field. Georgia couldn't stop him.
It looked that much different because Hurts is not a good qb and Tua is just that much better than Hurts. Being better than Hurts in no way makes Tua best in SEC.
Bama is so loaded with talent an adequate qb can win a NC. Hurts was a 3* recruit and was ranked lower than a SC qb recruit who was benched and transferred to Cal.
Tua came in the game and did what any good qb can do with Bama talent, he completed passes and scored td’s. There are over a dozen qb’s in the SEC who could have made Bama look as good as Tua did in that second half. The radical change from the first half to the second half is more a product of Hurts lack of talent than Tua’s supposedly superior talent.

LOL, that's preposterous.

You poeple need to understand, they looked at the top 4-5 returning QBs and the teams they play on and came to the conclusion that the Bama Qb who won the National Championship last year and is favored to win it this year is therefore going to be considered the best after the season is over shall be considered the best in The preseason.
Simple when you think about it.

Stidham as 3rd team says a lot about the talent at QB in the conference

Mississippi State and South Carolina have the best Qbs in the SEC this upcoming season imo.
