I just love how everyone looks at pictures of PP7 clearly inbounds and thinks that proves something. The issue was not whether he was in bounds. The issue is if he was in bounds with complete control of the ball and if there was "indisputable video evidence" of that, since the call on the field was in incomplete pass.
Look, i dont really care, because we werent going to go down and score to win anyway. Bama was the better team. But if you dont think there was enough evidence to overturn the call for this play, then there is no use for replay.

but what was the initial ruling on the field?
incomplete pass was the initial ruling - after further review - the booth couldn't/wouldn't overturn the initial ruling

I must have confused you with a credible poster. I really thought you were one of the decent Alabama supporters on here, but you couldn't help it.

Uh, no. Everyone with out any stake in the game called that play an interception. It's been a few years, let go of the bias.

They should have stopped the game, gathered everyone's cameras and looked for this type of evidence.

Its been a few years, you dont need to claim that everyone who knows the play was called correctly is biased. Let it go, slick.

I can see that. I am sure if it was ruled INT on the field, judgment would have been the same(too close to call, ruling stands)

Are there new camera angles now? It's over now so we can talk about it with honesty. I remember watching every angle they showed and saying there isn't enough to overturn. At the time of the play I don't remember it being anything other than a close play that went Alabama's way. I was with my best friend who's an LSU fan and I don't remember him even being upset. Hell I remember threads after the game with pictures of the mark his foot made...that's it. All these angles weren't shown here.

It's painfully obvious now that he was in. But at the time it wasn't THIS obvious was it?

It was this obvious at the time. They showed these exact angles. But it didnt matter, LSU wasnt going to go down and score anyway

They intercepted it at mid field, you have no idea what would have happened.

I watched the '08 & '09 games the other day (I'm sick of the offseason) and I could literally sit and count up the NFL players on both LSU & Bama sidelines & on the field. DAMN these two programs have pumped out the pro's lately - it's amazing when you look back.

Yeah, the pictures don't prove anything. The SEC just coincidentally decided to invest millions in HD after it.

Probably wouldn't have affected the outcome. They whipped our arse starting the fourth quarter trailing.

This call was more clear than Reid's INT.
