Alvin Lee - maybe the best pure shooter Bama's ever had...played for Wimp in the late 80's...he was money from the 3-point line and free throw line. I miss the days when we had shooters like him out on the perimeter...

I'll see your Washington and Cotton, and raise you a Jim Farmer. Not only obscure and forgotten on the hardwood, but also County Music.

Oliver Miller - Arkansas. I still remember him sitting on the bench during warm-ups at the Hump. Bully took him a hotdog. The Big O wasn't happy about it.

I had such high hopes for him. He actually did some good things but just had really bad timing to be a Vol.

LOL...look at what he was hired to do at his high school. That should tell you what position he is most knowledgeable of. C'mon Dawg...use your context clues.
You will not only know his name, but you will remember him well.
Brody Croyle ????

Good guess! But no...
I'll go ahead and give it up since only two tried to answer, but I do appreciate the lack of cheating.

Thad Turnipseed- not sure of the position but he played and then worked for Bama.
He like runs Football Ops for Clemshit now or something like that
David of Dorman was the SEC's original Turnipseed
but since it's march madness ... here's a throwback - the pride of Knoxville TN - Chris Gettelfinger

Dontarrious Thomas - great LB for AU (early 2000s) and played alongside well known LB, Karlos Dansby.
He had a handful of years in the pros but then fizzled out. I think I saw where he's doing very well and owns some restaurants - nice to hear as I know he received several awards for doing so well in school with a legit major.

There was a stretch there from the earlyish 2000s through around 2009ish where AU just kept churning out incredible LBs.
