LSU & South Carolina have played 22 times, South Carolina won the first game in 1930, by a score of 7-6.
That is still South Carolina's largest margin of victory.
thanks haha. dragging us into it.
Our baseball team has the longest postseason win streak of 22 straight postseason games won.
for football, The gamecocks are 10-0 vs North Carolina teams since 2000 (excluding the NC A&T types).

A five star player at Alabama stands a 49% chance of being drafted in the first round.
The national average is 18%
When an elite player says going to Alabama is a "business decision", he means it.

Darren McFadden finished 2nd in the Heisman ballots in both 2006 (Troy Smith (WHO?) and 2007 (Tim Tebow).
He shares the distinction of being a 2 time runner-up with Glenn Davis (ARMY 44-45), Charlie Justice (UNC 48-49) and Andrew Luck (Stanford 2010-11).
In 2006 Troy Smith (QB at Ohio State) was not in the top 5 of any statistical category but OSU went 12-0. McFadden had 1800+ yards with 2 games left at the time of voting. McFadden was a sophomore and there was much talk about why sophomores had never won the Heisman.
In 2007, McFadden as a jr. improved upon his 2006 stats and had a true Heisman moment at #1LSU when he 'brought dat wood'. Tebow had however become a media darling and even though FL goes 9-3 he wins the Heisman as the first sophomore to do so.
Mcfadden turned pro after his Jr. year. Had he reurned for a Senior year and gained 800 yards (about 4 games for him), he would be the all time SEC leading rusher. Note that Herschel Walker, the SEC leading rusher also only played 3 years.

The SEC has coughed up five Superbowl winning quarterbacks. Three of them came from Alabama alone.
Alabama quarterbacks have won more Superbowls (4) than any other team in SEC.
Ole Miss and Tennessee each have one.

Darren McFadden was deserving, but so was Tebow. He was the first player to have 50+ TDs in a season in SEC history. Tebow averaged 4.2 TDs per game.

99% of Mizzou fans think there is no chance to win a natty this year. The other 1% who think Mizzou can win it all are group home residents who also like tater tots.

Oklahoma is the only program in the nation which has four coaches with 100+ wins, and their first names all started with the letter “B.”
- Bennie Owen (122)
- Bud Wilkinson (145)
- Barry Switzer (157)
- Bob Stoops (190)
So naturally, Oklahoma had to hire Brent Venables.
You beat me to this one, so I will fall back to this, OU currently holds the belt for the longest string of winning seasons (23 seasons). IN fact they have only had 3 losing seasons in my lifetime (1968) and 5 in my father's lifetime (1945)
