LOL...I love it

He is the head coach of the University of Alabama football team. That is how he makes his living.

The reporters making their living on reporting about him and the University of Alabama. If they do not like it, find another job. I mean they are qualified to make menus for fast food, or advertisements for porta potty makers.

Being the most celebrated and wealthiest coach ever in college football? Hell yes. Sign me up for that

It beats the hell out of being poor and miserable on a message board 24/7 like you, William Taylor and several other losers that come to mind

I mean...they have a job to do and if they piss him off he can easily have their credentials pulled. Hence why they take it like men instead of being little bitches about it.

Sounds like you'd basically let him piss on your face because he wins football games..
If he has their credentials removed because someone dared to fire back at your god then that says a lot about him... Don't think he'd do that but if he does then who's really the little bitch??

LOL at "taking it like men"... If you're willing to let someone embarrass you like that then that ain't being a man... He puts his pants on one leg at a time just like any other man...

I get where he's coming from with his messages, he's speaking to his team and doesn't want complacency setting in... But dude wouldn't do it at this man's expense...

It's spring-training for reporters too. He's got to yell at them to get them ready for the season

Don’t know if Young will be as good as people think. High school football isn’t really top notch in California. They are having trouble even getting kids to play. But it doesn’t matter Saban could probably win with his son in law behind center.

We don't need no steenking QB, just someone to give it to one of the horde of running backs carrying it behind the five kaijus up front blocking for them.

“I just said Bryce is going to play with the [first-team offense],” Saban responded. “Alright? So that’s the way it’s gonna be. How do you know that he’s progressed the way he has been? What have you seen to be able to make that statement, first of all? I mean, I’m happy with his progress -- I don’t want you to think that -- but I just don’t know where you sort of just can come out and make that statement.”

Reporters have not been allowed to watch any portion of spring practice because of COVID-19 guidelines. Practices during the 2020 season were also closed because of those protocols.

“But I’m happy with his progress,” Saban continued. “I think he’s played well this spring. I think he showed good leadership. He’s made progress. I think he understands the offense. He’s worked hard. So I can make the statement because I watch him practice every day, but I don’t know how much practice you saw.”

Sounds like someone assumed Young was the starter next year and Saban set them straight. As always, the starting QB will be announced in the 1st game of the season.

I'm personally hoping for Tyson if I'm being honest, but whoever starts is going to be a good QB and it will be surprising if it's anyone other than Young. The days of McElroy are long gone.

Every indication is that Young has been lighting it up during practice. Why would you want Tyson to be the starter?

If you look at QBs over the years, you'll find that "dual threats" are often hyped up, but rarely produce the results. The ones that do produce results are the ones that manage the game and play smart football.

Hopefully Bryce is a case of someone who can manage the game, distribute the ball to the playmakers and has good running skills on top of it. It just seems like in many cases, they are "dual threat" because they are using their legs more than their arms.

So if Tyson beats him out somehow, then we've probably got a good game managing QB who can make the plays. Because from what I've read, he's got Lt Dan legs. Either way, I'm sure we are going to have a great QB.

Young isn’t a run if the first read isn’t open quarterback. He looks downfield when he leaves the pocket. He is going to be a good one when the game slows down for him.

I know Bryce was labeled a dual threat but he didn’t run the ball a whole lot in HS. He seems like a big pass first guy

You're right. Looks like he averaged about 31 pass attempts to 6 run attempts per game his senior season.

That's what I thought with Tua. I'll take a Mac Jones type over a Tua type.

But like I said originally, the days of Greg McElroy are long gone. We have a great QB with either of them.

Our O line may tip the need towards Bryce even further.

Not necessarily true. If you have a certain ideology, they will either fawn over you or ignore your transgressions.

Does that mean LSU will only lose by 20 this year?
Most likely a 60-40 game.

We gonna score some points!

Back to the Joe Brady Offense.

Defense is the still the real mystery.......
