2001 LSU...

Yet Tennessee managed to blow a double digit lead and lose to a backup QB that couldn't throw.

Or any year Ar-Kansas went...except 2006

2001 LSU was far from a complete team.

So what you're saying is if the roles were reversed and it was Alabama who went on to the SEC championship, win it, and then lose to LSU in the NCG, Alabama 2011 would have been the weakest west champ?

There is no reason to deal with his troll other than a downvote.

Since the revenge factor cannot appear during the regular season it does not stand. For it to stand bama would have had to have zero revenge on its mind during BCS because you cannot have revenge on mind during regular season

That 98 State team may have been one of the stronger West Champions. They had a nasty arse D and a bruising RB in J.J. Johnson. Mixed it up at QB with Wayne "Chris Rock" Madkin and Matt Wyatt ready in to go when it got crunch time.

Had many studs on this squad.
Ashley Cooper
Robert Bean
Barrin Simpson
Ed Smith
Kevin Sluder
Pork Chop Womak
Pig Prather
Randy Thomas
Reggie Kelly
Dicenzo Miller
Justin Griffith

Just to name a few

1995 Arkansas easily. They barely had a positive net point differential for the season (+1). Let me put that in perspective. Last year's Tennessee team with Derek Dooley as their HC and a historically bad defense had a better net point differential than Arkansas had in 1995. That's how bad they were.

95 and 02 Arkansas made it because Bama had a bowl ban.

In all honestly it is probably one of these two teams:

2002 Arkansas (9-5)
1998 Mississippi State Bulldogs (8-5)
