Please explain this to me and go on record now

Why do you idiots here keep saying OU will be a middle of the conference football team.
History has shown and recent history has shown OU will be a top sec team year in and out …
OU has beat Auburn by 2tds scores Florida by 5-6 tds … beaten Tenn two times and have owned A@M for decades….
I heard a UGA and Ole Miss fan say we wouldn’t be no better the mid pack… when UGA beat us by 3 points and Ole moss which hasn’t won more than 10 games one time in school history beat us in 99 in a close game …. This isn’t OU coming out of the John Blake schelleneberger days we are lights years better….
So i won’t all you chumps to go on record right now and tell me on a 3 years average where OU will finish and you know I will be saving this message so don’t talk shite becuase you know I will when proven wrong . OU will be. A top 3 sec program almost every year except the years LSU actually makes it to bowl games and has greatest teams ever .

I expect OU to be top half in SEC Football. But you are not gonna be top 4 in the nation (with any regularity) playing in the SEC.

Because there is limited success. It's dumb for Oklahoma and Texas to join the SEC for that reason. The less success you have, the more you are going to suffer for it.
There is a decently long list of teams who almost made it. Very few who are able to get over the hump.
Even in a weaker Big12 it's been 22 years since Oklahoma has won a title. Oklahoma has had the opportunity multiple times, and consistently lost to SEC teams in the process. Your wins over SEC teams are always over teams who weren't contending.
Your post season misery is now your regular season. Previously you could show that you made it that far in the post season for recruiting, fan excitment etc.
In the SEC all it takes is 1 loss often times, and when it doesn't everyone cries about it. A little more wiggle room with the playoffs, and Oklahoma has name brand to help in that area.
Not to say Oklahoma couldn't improve, but at your current level you going to be an also ran. Most reasonable Oklahoma fans recognize you need defense. Isn't that why you hired your current coach?

Nobody know how Aleva and this staff will do but it’s a very good bet he won’t be as good as Riley. Recruiting will suffer too.

The most recent SEC Championship won by one of these teams was 2013 when Auburn won it.

Have you seen how you play against good competition? It's all you get in the SEC. This isn't the big12.
