Sounds like LSU with Ed O in 2019. 2 years later he would get spit on if he steps foot in Louisiana.

UKWildcats, I'd probably say the same about Stoops but he doesn't have the program history at UK as Pit Boss does at Arky. UK is a legit program and improving every year. I always read that because (x) is no longer there that UK will struggle. With Stoops that never seems to happen.

Reminds me of Patrick Fain Dye and Auburn.
Very good comparison. Didn’t have a “system”, he was just a hard-nosed guy who loved his players and expected a lot from them, and they would run through a wall for him.

I like how he is using the portal. Doesn't need to recruit the high school ranks like Jimbo to compete. He can bring in experienced talent that can contribute immediately. I wish Jimbo would take a cue from him to fill some of our roster gaps.

Arkansas with Pittman can be a consistent 8 to occasional 10 win team. They will need a superstar QB to come along to elevate them into a playoff contender.

Its hard not to like him on a personal level.
I definitely like the man, great story, but it's hard to see him leading Arkansas to a championship.

Pittman doesn't strike me as the type who would quit on the job and start chasing tail after winning a championship and getting a bigger contract.

How about that we let your boy coach a season in the SEC before we start sucking dicks. I'm not mad though
I mean he has a bit more history "building programs" than the 12-11 coach you made this thread about.
Talk about small sample sizes.

This thread was specifically about Arky and Pit Boss. Not Kelly, penis breath.

That's a lot of penis references from you this evening.

The fact that Pittman is even getting guys like Cedric Baxter and Jaden Rashada to visit this week speaks volumes about how much we’ve progressed since the Morris era. I’m sure NIL helps some too but a 5* QB even giving us the time of day a few years ago would have been crazy.

Beamer is an idiot who complained about not having enough talent but then gets rattler and other xfers.
USC can fill a stadium and that’s all that matters. (This is the goal for everyone)
Besides that, he makes more than me, coaches at a great university in the SEC, and probably a good dude. Time will tell how he does, just like Pittman.

One of those doesn't belong. Let's see what Kelly does in a real conference, or a conference at all, before we start grouping him with Saban and Smart.

His hire was never intended to win big here.

Who would you put over him?

Any coach that's actually won a BCS or NY6 game for starters.

Those guys all have major knocks against them as "program builders" though.
