LSU was looking past Troy to the Gators most likely, wouldn't you concur ?

Not really.

We were jut missing like 4 guys in our front 7 on defense and Troy dominated us up front, especially in the 2nd half. We had our two interior linemen play every snap of the game.

Auburn losing to LSU- the auburn team I watched in the iron bowl.....how the frick did they lose. Thank God they did but We mailed in the playbook at halftime and beat LSU by 2 tds.

Kentucky to Florida- If UK couldn't win that florida game, I wonder if they ever will.

You make this sound as if UT was the favorite in this game?

UT is always the favorite against Mizzou, as are all SEC teams, in perpetuity.

All of UTs conference losses. 0-8. They became the new Vandy.

We did the same thing against A&M too.

Up in both something like 28-3.

Ok you’re actually right about that.

Blowing a 44-10 lead with 18 minutes left in the game has to be the worst.

The largest lead A&M has ever overcome was 21 against Duke in 2013.

I consider Tennessee beating UMass 17-13 a loss. Can I count that?

I'd distinguish between worst and most painful.

Most painful it is A&M @ UCLA in a runaway victory.

Worst: Too close for me to call. Troy over LSU or Georgia 41 - UT 0. (long before UT saw the 0-8 writing on the wall.)

1. Auburn to LSU - Should have never happened, and GusShortBus admits to his idiocy after the game with "I thought they couldn't score"

2. LSU to Troy -

3. A&M to UCLA - it was spectacular to watch the most epic meltdown I've ever seen live

4. Miss State to Ole Miss - Merlin's last frick you to the Starkvegas fans that loved him

5. Auburn to thUGA - Much like in 2016, GusShortBus plays injured players when there were able bodies that could've easily gotten the job done sitting on the sideline. And they gave this buffoon a raise

I nominate OM.

Take your pick: Cal/A&M/Arky all terrible losses and good candidates for worst losses.

Another that jumps to mind is LSUs loss to Troy

Don Muffin losing to Ole Miss and then bolting to Florida did major damage to his reputation/legacy with MSU fans.

Troy vs LSU

LSU lost to an 11 & 2 Troy team at less than full strength. Meanwhile, Troy could beat a lot of SEC teams at full strength this year.

Of course, the O haters went off the charts for a few weeks trying to make it seem that lost was the worst loss ever in LSU history and telling us all ad nauseam that I told you so.

In fact, for a couple of weeks on the Rant, every thread was calling for O's head on the chopping block immediately and it wasn't even his fault we lost. Indeed, how was it coach O's fault that the team he inherited from Miles didn't have any depth to it? Which was why so many true freshmen played this season. Coach O had to deal with the team he was dealt.

Nonetheless, the truth is we had numerous key players sitting out because they couldn't play in that game. On top of that, we had an Arden Key playing who was a mere shell of his former self. Not to mention, that Troy had one of the best teams that it has had in decades that could have beaten several SEC teams at full strength.

That loss is considered to be a worse loss than a normal bad loss only in the minds of unhinged people that don't give a damn about facts because they are obsessed with hating O and trying to insist that they are smarter than everyone else. These are all the same lunatics that condemned the Miles firing.

LSU was just a better team. That's all there was to that game.

And the SECN replayed the game Christmas day.

Truly one of the worst beats I've ever watched. I wouldn't blame anyone for renouncing their fandom after a game like that. Sometimes the universe is just against you
