Worst could refer to a big choke, a bad upset, or a blowout loss

1. Kentucky to Florida- The history of this makes it the worst loss of the season. It was truly remarkable how UK lost this game. Who knows when UK will get another opportunity like this to beat Florida.

2. A&M to UCLA- Blew a 34 point lead to a 6 win team

3. Missouri to Purdue- It's Purdue, and they lost by 32.

4. UT to Missouri- It's Missouri, and they lost by 33.

5. Ole Miss to Alabama- Ole Miss is not 63 points worse than this Alabama team. They didn't show up, and it was embarrassing.

I gave that strong consideration, but I think Troy could beat the majority of SEC teams this year.

LSU vs. Troy is very noticeably absent on your list.

You make this sound as if UT was the favorite in this game? UT finished 0-8 in the SEC this year and Mizzou 4-4

And how the hell do you put this in over Troy and LSU?

Us to Kentucky. Literally no reason to lose that game and we got dominated

In retrospect the Troy loss really wasn’t as humiliating as it seemed like at the time. Troy was possibly LSU’s best non-conference opponent and they were better than a few of the SEC teams LSU played as well.

Georgia/Auburn 1
or
Georgia/Auburn2

Depends on your point of view.
Georgia fans pick #1 and Auburn fans would pick #2.

The incredible thing about Florida only winning 4 games is that they had no business winning two of them. The Kentucky and Tennessee games were both legit miracles.

Well, I tend to disagree.

LSU was looking past Troy to the Gators most likely, wouldn't you concur ?

Most knowledgeable fans wouldn't consider Troy a bad loss anymore, they are a pretty good team.

We should finish first (Troy) and second (State blowout) in this thread.

The astonishing thing is that as bad as Arkansas was, and we were horrible, we didn't have a top 5 worst game. We were blown out in quite a few games but everyone knew we were going to be blown out in those games.

I'd nominate the Ole Miss loss against Arkansas. One, we were horrific. Two, its the only time during Bert's stay at Arkansas that we beat a team after trailing at halftime. Three, we rallied from 24 points down to do it.

This. The LSU loss was frustrating but the UGA game has the most implications.
