Astute observation. Very well put imo.

You started off making a nonsensical post that you have yet been able to prove, and then you can’t produce anything more than a worthless emoticon when an inconvenient fact is provided about our new OC.

You say this like SEC defenses are all so dominant. Most of them are average.

But at the same time, exceedingly dominant relative to the average weak ACC team.

Now you should consider the “low level by acc standards” talent he played with and the “upper level by sec standards” talent he will play with.

Man, UGA should win a title given all of this talent. They won't, but they should.

Newman now has a talent advantage compared to his competition as opposed to the significant deficit he was facing week in and out last season.

That's not saying he's a write in All-American, but it's reasonable to predict an offensive improvement this year over last.

I'm betting Jamie Newman will find the SEC far harder to play successfully than the ACC.

I’m betting Newman will have more talent to work with at UGA than he did at wake forest.

The burden is on you to prove your original claim, but you can’t do, which had led us to an even bigger dump of trash posting from you.

Not really. I don't think UNC or Duke are looking at Ole Miss' or Tennessee's defense and thinking, "man, those dudes are fricking good."

VOLS finished 23rd nationally in total defense, which would’ve been good enough for 3rd in the ACC and far better than UNC’s or Duke’s iirc

23rd nationally isn't "exceedingly dominant" relative to anything in the power 5, which is what the post I responded to said.

Mond is either the greatest mediocre QB or the most mediocre great QB to ever play college football. I do not understand the commitment to that kid, surely A&M has better on the roster.

So afraid that uga might get better at qb.

Yep. THIS is the year for sure. UGA couldn’t get over the hump with DJ Shockley, or Matt Stafford, or Aaron Murray, or Jacob Eason, or Jake Fromm.

But Jamie Newman is the guy. No doubt about it.

Crazy that he wasn't even our best LB last year.

Right?! It's crazy to think about what could have been... I don't think it a coincidence that our season went to shite after losing Cale, but imagine how bleak the LB core could be if it wasn't for Bolton.
