Ideally you don’t want 60+ transfers in a year even in this era of football. You want a bit more of a base to start from. Under 40 would be a lot better. That’s an entire 22 man unit.

If you read my posts I mentioned UGA. He had a good and bad half. The rest are not the same hostile SEC environments like Baton Rouge, Tuscaloosa, Gainesville, Knoxville, Austin, the jungle, or even college station when they are rocking. OU is weak. A QB less LSU should have won out there last year. Starkville is barely over half some of those stadiums. Theres a reason they need cowbells. The bowl games are 50/50 and executive crowds. I think he can do it. Just saying it’s still limited seeing him do it eventhough everyone feels he’s been here forever. Ole Miss had a soft schedule last year by SEC standards. We also have to see if the old swamp is alive.

Not trolling because I’m just trying to go off memory. How many road venues has Chambliss played in like the swamp. It does not feel like many. I remember him having a horrid 2H at UGA after a hot in the start. I know he’s avoided Baton Rouge and Tuscaloosa. I don’t think he’s played in Knoxville or even Auburn during his still rather short tenure. Definitely not Austin. Ole Miss schedule was pretty light last year. Not saying he is not a boss and can’t do it like in the bowl games but those are still neutral crowds. Him coming off this past emotional week will not make it easy though.

Dude you can critique shite all day. Quit acting like lsu had paid players and ole miss was grambling. Ole Miss has a $40M roster themselves and was at home with the returning best QB in the country. There’s a reason it was supposed to be a competitive game. If anything it was a must win for ole Miss unless the judge getting Chambliss more years.

It is extremely normal for LSU. Look into how Tiger Stadium even came to exist. Huey Long had it built as dorms for a reason.
