They’re not on team anymore. You can’t lose if your not on team. A coach doesn’t get and L or W if he takes another job before bowl game knumbnuts. Players can’t lose if they aren’t on team anymore.

Between this thread and Chex’s mega thread, it’s obvious that trolling the boards also beats the ‘23 AU Tigers.

A sad 6-8 team.

Ya, as a player I would be like frick all that bullshite too and not give a frick about the bowl game. I think it’s a testament to their coach that he was even able to get some players on to the field, I sure as frick would not have played.

And like the FSU players, you are selfish and have a shitty attitude.

Players have been opting out for years dude. It is a business decision post-irrelevance. FSU was not given the deserved opportunity to prove anything. Even if they did beat Georgia all they would receive is an "atta boii-our basketball team should be pretty good this year"

This is the epitome of what a sense of entitlement means. Players at FSU and similar places are idolized by hundreds of thousands of people who make it possible for them to play the game, in some cases get an education and in others make some serious money now with NIL and showcase their talents for the NFL. If it’s a business decision to treat the customer base in such a manner it’ll will eventually blow up.

I don’t know the names of a single player from FSU who opted out but I remember admiring Will Anderson and Bryce Young DID not in a similar situation. Who has the better brand? If it’s a business decision it’s an ill advised one. You can rest assured its used as leverage in contract negotiations because it raises concerns about character…at least in negotiations

He makes a good point u can’t act like Fla state had all their starters missing 28 players?

I can act like that's completely irrelevant, because it is. They had something to prove in this game. If they can't get their players to understand that and show up, then that's on them. It doesn't mean they deserved a spot in the playoff. It means the opposite.
