Yeah, some posters itt don't seem to realize that Spurrier said that stuff a week ago.
Frost or other(s) may have been more in play then, or Spurrier could've been smoke screening for a move on Kelly.

Exactly my point. But the ones wanting Kelly to be the coach at UF use anything to find proof that he will be the next coach, thus the smokescreen theory.
I believe Kelly will be a coach in 2018, but it won't be at UF.

There is no smokescreen. Kelly is the rumored target and has been for the better part of the week. If anything is the smokescreen here it is Kelly for someone else.

I'd say so. If it doesn't happen by then, means something happened. Either Chip or Florida backed down from it.
The guy who told me it yesterday morning before all the chaos still says it's in place. Just working it all out this morning. His agency isn't part of the deal, but he has enough friends that I trust him if he tells me it. Been right about everything he's said so far to me leak wise.
