Actually…. Means a lot when this is a player chosen to represent A&M at the largest media event in the conference.
Maybe it’s not a big deal for joe blow college student, but when your head coach chooses this player to be a major representative at a major media event, yeah, it’s a big deal.

This was very likely only a charge because of the marijuana. Since marijuana possession under 2 oz is a class b misdemeanor, any possession of a weapon at the time is unlawuful, even of it is 100% legally owned and stored otherwise. Meaning of he didn't have the weed, the gun charge wouldn't exist either. So another result of Texas Dinosaur marijuana laws.

Driving while high is also not the same as driving while drunk. Both can be dangerous, but there is clearly a lesser of two evils
