Most of the wealthy households are in the Philadelphia area that have no ties to Penn State. New Yorkers have also moved in droves to East Pa in the past decade. They could care less about Penn State or even college football. The rest of the state has some of the most depressing rust belt cities/towns you can imagine.

One billionaire donor is great, but his money has gone to scholarships and other academic programs. Not to the NIL fund in gold filled buckets which is rather interesting. Giving to the academics is a tax write off. Giving to the NIL fund is not. These guys didn't get to be billionaires by being foolish with their money.

Their alumni are either cheap, or Pennsylvania is your classic broke rust belt state.
. You are ignorant. Penn State is spending over $750 million for a football stadium renovation. They have a lot of money.

I think they were stupid to fire Franklin
I believe Franklin and the higher ups were exchanging words. Franklin called their bluff and they fired him without really having a next move ready. But their pride was not going to let them keep Franklin around.

It is an investment. Not a grant. They will get the money back down the road. That is how business works. Please pay attention to the NIL discussion.

LOL. You may want to check their record this century across all sports.

Compared to LSU, it’s a joke. it’s also only in wrestling (12), Men’s Gymnastics (3) lmao and Women’s volleyball (7). Only one other in fencing. I don’t count individual ones, only team champions.
Only Mizzou and Oklahoma have wrestling teams in the SEC. I don’t even know of any men’s gymnastics teams outside of Big10 and the former PAC12 as they make up the majority

Even then, LSU has baseball (4), football (3), women’s basketball (1), men’s golf (1), women’s gymnastics (1), men’s indoor t&f (2), women’s indoor t&f (3), men’s outdoor t&f (2), women’s outdoor t&f (3).

Across all athletics LSU has them beat hands down of the sports both teams play (and most every other school their size plays).
Of the sports they play in common, LSU has them beat 20 to 7.

That’s apples to apples.
Next time, do your own homework

TCU made the national championship game a few years ago and I'd take every school in the SEC over that job. Weak argument.

The comment was multiple championships across sports. They have multiple championships across sports.

Move the goal posts if you like.

So? PSU 3 or 4 sports to LSU 9 or 10. Again, you’re not doing your homework. You get an F

It was a top 10 job historically, but hell, so was Nebraska. I could name 9 SEC jobs I'd take over PSU, and 4 more in their conference.

I don’t believe there are nine jobs better than penn state in the sec. Maybe on par but your clearly speaking out of turn.

Auburn and Florida, psu doesnt have bama or fsu in their backyard. Better job. You’d be hard pressed to find a team that’s number 2 in their state that’s a better job than psu.
