Its silly. Nothing a Vandy players says or does is gonna affect how Bama players play Saturday. If you arent motivated, already, nothing will motivate you.
One thing of note, and this is a big thing in Vandy's favor. When you bring a great effort and expend emotional energy...it taxes and drains your nervous system. It is the biological reason behind "trap games" Your body can be completely recovered...but your nervous system can take longer than a week to fully recover, which is why players can look slow and unmotivated in games like this.
