No one is going to watch Finebaum in a sitcom. SEC football is a small niche but the attraction is the game, players and coaches. Take SEC football away from Finebaum and he is just a set of ears.

when watching or listening to sports news/analysis/talk, I have never thought "I wonder what Finebaum has to say on this topic." Nothing he says is novel. the gimmick of his radio show is the callers, sure he's a good idiot-wrangler, but if I wanted to watch springer, I would watch springer.
