Storm coming

- LSU and UF meet to discuss, assuming LSU wanted to move to a home game for them, UF wanted to change date and keep at UF.

- LSU won't compromise

- UF won't compromise

- No agreement reached, so game stays at date and place.

- UF fans accuse LSU of being cowards

- UF ends up having to postpone/cancel anyway, game won't happen.

- LSU fans accuse UF of being cowards

End result: No game, LSU melt.

Can you be an outside observer of a school you're obsessed with?

Reports are that LSU offered to travel to neutral site, host at LSU, have the game later in the weekend at Florida, or have the game Monday at Florida, and Florida said no.

Where did LSU refuse to compromise? Their bye dates don't match up. LSU offered Death Valley as well as offered to travel to any neutral site outside of the path. Florida rejected all of those and delayed until it was too late to do anything. This is 100% on Florida. LSU would have played Florida in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Tallahassee, Birmingham, Mobile, Atlanta, Tampa, ect whether it was on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Florida said no, that it was Gainesville at 11:00am or bust. There was simply no way logistically to play that game at that time.

You left out the part about LSU not having an open date to reschedule and Florida delaying announcement to make playing in BR an option.

You also left out part about how Aggie fan, tired of being owned by LSU, sticks his nose in other people's business with lame post insulting LSU fans who were very much willing to play Florida.

Florida delayed until they could ensure a cancellation. They wanted nothing to do with LSU.

Reports dispute pretty much everything in your OP. Then again, that's not what this thread was about. Troll on, Aggie.

Bringing the pimpled faced Aggies in the SEC was such a mistake.

Jacques Doucet ?@JacquesDoucet
#LSU offered to play Sat/Sunday/Monday either in Baton Rouge or Gainesville. #LSU had secured hotels in BR + NOLA. Even offered #LSU plane.
