True I guess, but not $300 expensive. Ashton Hills only $80 or so. Hope it's decent

Can anyone recommend a great public course within an hour square radius of Lake Sinclair? Not the Reynolds ones bc those are crazy expensive Masters week. Got tee time in Covington at Ashton Hills... anyone ever play there? Tried Cherokee Run too but they're booked up.

I was about to suggest a few but ... then I saw "Masters Week" and, all I will add is, good luck.

They'd rather "tee it up" than watch the Masters?

I would assume most golfers and fans would rather watch from home or go to watch parties.

Hard Labor Creek. The Georgia Club on 316. If you want to go to a great one on the lake, drive to Elbert and play Aroowhead on Lake Russell.

Not sure about the proximity to Sinclair....great catfishing btw.

But in and around Augusta, Applewood is pretty good. South Point on the Hephizbah side of Augusta used to be decent as best I can remember. Got a buddy that plays Forest Hills but that is down in Statesboro and you might get Clamydia crossing into Bulloch county. I heard that from a friend.

Were that this was true...unfortunately golf is a pretty big deal in Georgia. Biggest waste of real estate in the state followed by graveyards and soccer fields...

Perhaps but I highly doubt you'll have trouble finding a tee time around metro Atlanta/North Georgia over masters weekend.Even the most casual golfers and fans watch the Masters

This board is filled with georiga fans/alters saying basketball sucks.. baseball sucks.. basically all sports suck except for football..

I’m well aware that the RSM Classic is played in St. Simon’s Island in the fall every year. You would have to be a moron to not know that. There is some green jacket thing too.. So yeah.. get inside my head and keep up you appleholes.

I am having a tough time following that one too.

Although I though the original poke at the Georgia fans poo pooing on basketball and baseball was warranted and fairly well done. So I will give you a point for that.

Now back to your riddle.
So the "e" in appleholes is meant to represent Eastside CC?

I thought the use of appleholes was kind of a homespun reach, and I like to think I am all for expressive and inventive uses of language, but I have no idea how to glean Eastside out of it.

If you get to the Georgia coast the courses on Jekyll Island are very nice. I believe there are still 3 18 hole courses and one antique 9 hole course. The state maintains them and they are beautiful. And they might still have discounted play rates at certain times.

Georgia has a huge number of golf courses - many private and a good number of public courses.

This is all correct, just played them during WLOCP week. They’re just challenging enough without being insurmountable and they’ve got a lot of wildlife and water features. Plus, Jekyll is just a cool place in general
