Can anyone recommend a great public course within an hour square radius of Lake Sinclair? Not the Reynolds ones bc those are crazy expensive Masters week. Got tee time in Covington at Ashton Hills... anyone ever play there? Tried Cherokee Run too but they're booked up.

Georgia doesn’t care about golf. It isn’t football.

There's a decent course over in Augusta.

Bad timing. Homes, hotels are booked for hundreds of miles.

There should be some good ones in the Atlanta suburbs. Several years ago I played with some friends at a course called Hard Labor Creek. I think it was public and at that time it was a good course. Don’t know how it is today but it was fine when I played there.I think it was in Social Circle.

Hard Labor’s a solid course, most of the state park courses are. My favorite to play of the state parks has been Arrowhead Point. Probably a bit out of range of Sinclair, though; up past Elberton

Good advice.
Hard Labor is great, but Arrowhead Point is worth the visit IMO.

What wrong with golf courses in South Carolina?

There is a great track at Stone Mtn in the park I believe which was surprisingly good.

You’re such an embarrassment

Every swinging dick in the South wants to tee it up on Masters weekend, so it's going to be expensive
